Resizing Maps and Tokens

August 09 (13 years ago)
I am using Google Chrome (21.0.1180.75 m) on an HP (5.9 rating) running Windows 7 Home Premium (Service Pack 1).

I am getting ready for next week, loading maps and tokens. When I try to resize by dragging the right-most drag box, the map or token resizes to both the right AND the left. This repeats with top and diagonal drag boxes. It is very difficult to get a precise fit.
It is normal, because it resize about the center. As it is now, Roll20 has no way to resize precisely. Only through guesswork.

It was resizing differently (better) before. Each drag box worked independently.
The resize tool changed with the last update. Before that, it resized from one corner (but already by guesswork). I think it is a consequence of the new graphic "engine" adopted since that update.
There also used to be a box to click and drag to quickly fill areas with copies of a tile. Is this function completely gone, or is there another way to get around that?

Timothy, that feature is currently disabled, but we intend to put it back in eventually.

@Patrick @Thorill I just added a new feature to let you set the dimensions of things specifically if you know you want it to be exactly, for example, 60x60 pixels or something like that. More info in this thread:

Let me know if that helps. Thanks!
