Counter for turn order

Could we please get a counter at the top next to "Turn Order" that GM can reset for each battle to show how many rounds? I think it would be useful for spell duration counts and GMs doing time based events.

I just create an entry in the turn order called end of round with the initiative of 1 and have it at the end of the list. Each time I get to it I change the number but leave it in it's last position. It helps keep count of the rounds for tracking durations and such..
Yes, that works, I've been keeping note of how long my spells are up but someone specifically asked how much time had passed. Having something automated can be so much easier than changing that number every round, plus I've been having a lot of difficulties when I edit turn tracker with another bug that's editing the wrong entries XD An in game clock might be useful as well, though I'd think round counter would be easier to implement.

I noticed that someone is working on an api script that does counting for durations. the api is part of the paid subscription though.

For round counters I usually use an unused bubble on a per character basis.  For example, if player 1 casts a spell that lasts 10 rounds, I put a 10 in the left bubble and every time their turn comes up I decrease it by 1.  This has the advantage of keeping track of spells or effects that start on different rounds without having to make notes on each duration's starting time.  It has the disadvantage of using up one of the three bubbles (but for M&M it's fine since I don't really use the bubbles much). The turn order counter is a good idea too, I might try that for effects that I plan on having happen after a certain amount of time has passed.

I think it would be pretty easy to make an API script that adds one to a counter on the turn order.
+1.  A turn counter and some kind of built-in condition tracking would be great.  I know the status icons are there, but it would be nice to have a little more functionality around them.

+1 Much easier to keep track of this way, than in systems where the actual initiative number itself is important.

As we have the possibility to add custom items we can already do this manually. And my guess is that if you want to do this automagically, you should use the API. It's definitly possible, and I think there's already a script doing this :-)
