The plot thickens like congealing blood on a cold day...

Vox Transmission Received *BZT* "I repeat can anyone hear me?" *HISS* "This is oversergeant Silica Elukka at security station nine, deck one forty two in Yellow Sector. We are under heavy fire! This is oversergeant Elukka requesting reinforcements." *HISS* "We have xenos penitent engines and other intruders down here. They are heading for the main engineerium" *BZZT* "By the God-Emperor and all that is high and holy his highness Lutum Telluris is in there with the Magos!" *HISSSS* You attempt to respond but the channel is just filled with static. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Those characters with Forbidden Lore (Adeptus Mechanicus) know that the Granite Spire is 1,306 meters tall, by 123,000 meters wide with 333 levels. There are seven distinct sections to the spire with Red Sector being located at the base at the bottom of the seafloor, and Violet Sector being the top forty-three levels where the AA turrets, the Planetary Defense Lance emitter and Spaceport Primaris are located. Each section is ~40 levels thick and have ten to twelve security stations. You also know that Yellow Sector is where the main Engineerium is located as well as all the fusion reactors, it is just below the water line which is around Blue Sector. Green Sector above that holds the Hydroponic Gardens and the Alge Vats where much of the food for the hive cities is grown before being down to Blue Sector for processing and loading on the Ogre boats for shipment. Those characters with Common Lore (War) know that each of the Spire's security stations boast two hydraulic sanctum gates protected by a pair of stationary gun servitors located on either side of the gates (4 total) and when opened the gates lead to a narrow chainlink bridge that can access an elevated platform containing a small armory, a barracks for capable of housing a whole platoon, and a brig. In the entire history of Rheelas most of the security stations have relied on these legless gun servitors and have been otherwise empty except for those located on the edges of Yellow Sector which are fully 'manned'. On each level of the spire at least four security stations hang over huge vertical shafts, dubbed the Cardinals, that serve as ventilation ducts for the whole structure, these vents are separated every hundred levels by an array of turbines that blow air down from the crown through various filtration mechanisms and caches and into the sublevels below. Cardinal XII, III, VI, and IX also house the ancient Dark Age life sustainers that predate the original colonization during the Great Crusade and run continuously and independently of the spire's fusion reactor genetorium in Yellow Sector.
Those of you who have characters with Common Lore (Rheelas) know that Lutum Telluris is the son of Paedor Telluris, the lord of Granite and kidnapped ruler of Rheelas. Paedor's first and only son relinquished all rights to land, property, and title when he joined the Adeptus Mechanicus, the title then passed on to Paedor's daughter Porcada who was named heir until her death in childbirth about a decade ago, upon her ill fated death (some suspect assassination) the title of lord was passed on to her infant son, and the League of Hive Captains placed in charge of the planet until the boy's name day still some years away. Those characters with Common Lore (Nobility or Imperial Creed) know that the heir to Granite Throne is currently 4,086 days old and 1,406 days away from the holy ritual which will grant him his name and a blessing from the Hierophant herself, High Cardinal Topaz Udisasukas, the proxy of the Savior King of the Mankind and his twenty holy Suns, chief Ecclesiarch of the Imperial Cult on Rheelas, and the key power broker of the entire planetary government from her Sky Realm of the Heavenly Hook in low synchronous orbit above the northern polar region and her monastary Auto-Temples in each of the floating Hives. Those characters with Forbidden Lore (Adeptus Mechanicus) know that the current leader of the Machine Cult on Rheelas is the Magos Euemos, a full conversion cyborg who has held the position of eldest and most senior Tech Priest for the past three hundred years.
