Different "poses" for the same token

I'd like to be able to use one token that has a series of different poses for different actions. Having a different pose like walking, running, fighting, jumping, climbing, sleeping, etc. would be much preferred to having to find a token for a player (that might not even look like the player) and switch it out, and it would allow faster, more streamlined gameplay.
So you want to increase the number of required tokens by 6, while not actually adding any new art except different postures.
x6 rather.
That be nice. What even be more nice if it could be triggered by macros.
I think he is saying that he would like to be able to stack token art that you can then cycle through so that the same token can look like it is doing different things. Obviously you would have to find the actual art to fill those slots but the ability to cycle would be cool. Could also be useful if your character transformed in some way. This is not increasing the number of "required" tokens, simply giving the ability to add more stances to the tokens while the requirement remains as one. I would agree with this.
A similar discussion was had at at this thread a couple of months ago. That thread has been closed (due to age), so rather than reopen it, I'll just say that there was some good discussion over there that may be of interest to those in this thread. But fundamentally, I'm all for this type of functionality. I think that, if done generically enough, this would allow not only for the behavior asked for by the OP (multiple poses on one token), but could also allow for custom dice (e.g. dice with pictures instead of number, like Warhammer Fantasy) as well as a wide variety of indie games that treat dice as physical objects instead of solely as random number generators.
Take a look at the tokens by WyldFurr: <a href="http://www.rpgnow.com/product_info.php?cPath=3919&products_id=83331&affiliate_id=80805" rel="nofollow">http://www.rpgnow.com/product_info.php?cPath=3919&products_id=83331&affiliate_id=80805</a> and RPGMapShare <a href="http://www.rpgmapshare.com/index.php?q=gallery&g2_itemId=563" rel="nofollow">http://www.rpgmapshare.com/index.php?q=gallery&g2_itemId=563</a> they have tokens with different poses.
At the risk of being accused of advertising, iTabletop offers this functionality. Tokens can have multiple display graphics of which you can choose any one to show at a time. They also have multiple overlays, i.e. graphics that you can overlay over the top of the chosen image. You can choose multiple of these at a time so they are handy for indicating status (e.g. Prone, No Shield, whatever you like).
