first time player looking for a D&D 5e game

I have been on this site for a two weeks and the games I've been accepted into have fallen through. I just want to play some d&d. I want to start with everyone else at level 1 and have adventures with them. I would prefer a sandbox world where we can really change the direction of the game. please if anyone knows of a game that's about to start that needs another player tell me.

I'm in the same boat you are. I'd be more than happy to play if people want to start a group or already have one that need some more players.

I would be fine with any amount. Honestly I like the idea of playing a game that is unique and is flexible enough to let use shape the world.
