Noah K. said: Would everyone mind telling me more about their characters? So you want to know what a Jannien is? Well you've come to the right place. Scientifically known as “Jannien Venn
Lobett, the Morning Frost, Artisan to the House of the Rising Sun”, the Jannien
is a strange and wondrous creature. It seeks, much like the children of most
species, to consume several times its body weight in sugary goods each day. We
have been told that this sugar is needed to fuel the Jannien’s production of
pixie dust and its continued existence. Though we have no scientific evidence to
support this, it is imperative that you yield to a Jannien’s demands if it asks
you for a cookie as it could very well be a matter of life and death. The death of a Jannien would be a terrible thing too. Like
its scientific name suggests, the Jannien is responsible for dusting the world
around it in frost and dew before the sun rises each morning. Though supposed “scientists”
may make claims that this is a completely natural process and that pixies like
the Jannien are unnecessary, we have been informed that Janniens are critical to
making sure that the dew and frost have the perfect aesthetic placement as they
form. Without this careful guiding hand, nature would have no art to it. And as we
all well know, without art there would be no culture, and without culture civilization as we know it would crumble .
Speaking of culture, Janniens are packed to the brim with it.
From the ancient modernist style, to impressionism, and the often
under-appreciated stickfigure-ism style, Jann’s art work incorporates all
mediums from across the lands and ages. These skill most typically shine when
embroidering, embossing, or engraving, but can be found in subtler ways as
well. Unappreciative heathens might refer to Jann as an art snob, but the truth
is that he only want to make the world a better, prettier place.
And really, isn’t that what we all want?
