[LFP] Looking for Players 5th Edition D&D

Hello there, I've recently taken a break from D&D because of IRL commitments, however I've recently been looking into 5th Edition and I am interested in starting a campaign. I have GM'd a campaign only once before so I am still a new DM, especially with 5th Edition. I am particularly looking for newer players so we can learn the game together but I would also enjoy experienced players. I have a fairly open schedule so I don't necessarily have a particular weekly date set *yet' however I can and will change it according to what players would like. what kind of campaign are you going to run? i'm particularly keen on a sandbox game myself, though i understand it's quite an undertaking for a fairly new GM such as yourself. i'm quite new to D&D myself, but i think i'm familiar enough with 5e, i have most of the relevant books as well (PHB, MM and DMG) as far as scheduling goes, i'm fairly flexible after 7pm EDT most evenings, except tuesdays, I already have a game then. I've been gaming for the better part of 2 decades, fairly experienced with role playing. I'm college grad and i, more or less, run my own business. I'd also like to hold off on creating a character concept until I know what type of campaign/setting we're going to be using, but rest assured, I'm quite flexible in this regard.

Hi there! I'd certainly be interested in getting in on this gaming action! My schedule is also quite open as I set my own hours. I would be interested to join as well, depending on when the game will be held of course. I am a very experienced roleplayer myself, but I haven't been playing for close to half a year now, so I will maybe be a bit rusty. I have never played D&D 5E before either, so I will be learning the details of it as we play. I think I'll pick it up fairly quickly though. Love to hear back on what times we'd be playing. I am in europe, so in terms of EST, I would be avaliable to play between 9AM to 7PM, altough I could start up to 5 hours earlier on weekends.

I'd be interested in playing. It would be my first time playing so i may need some help. I could play from 7:30 -11:00 PM EST.

I would love to learn how to play myself but would literally need help from the ground up. basic rules character creation ect. i have messed with the "starter set" i purchesed at a local barnes and noble but that is the fartherst i go when it comes to experience and got a little confused trying to get through that. i am available week nights after about 5pm est and any time on the weekend

An update to any of those concerned! This will now be a 4th Edition D&D instead of 5th Edition.

Starting at 7pm EST? When did I say that? This week i'm getting the group together and helping everyone with their characters as well as making the campaign. We will most likely be having our first game between the 28th - 5th, depending on people's availability and time preference. From then on it will be a weekly campaign for a few hours once a week between 3 - 8 depending on how little or how long people want to play but I expect 4 -6 personally. If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask or if you are interested to take part.

I was counting character creation as a "start" as its the first part of starting any campaign I apologize for any misunderstanding on my part. As towards it being around 7pm est it was my understanding that everyones availability was in or around that time. and as for character creation starting today, i assumed it was today that you wanted to start the character creation because well.. you posted it today..
