Players Only: Out of Character

Okay Players, The character sheets, in their basic glory, have been drafted and assigned. The intentional parts, I can own up to easily. As much as I like the core game, the fixture of its component is stretched out. Not that it's too complicated or anything, its just a little redundant. I do want to capture its essence, and maintain something recognizable as being "Shadowrun" of course. Most of the glamour is based on the online games, while retaining the pen-n-paper foundation. While looking at the sheet, the scores for the Attributes and Abilities would still be the number of dice used in an action check. Yes, some of those numbers are low. Maybe more of how SR1e and Shadowrun Returns was introduced. The skill check would use both the Attribute and Ability values in the dice pool much like SR4e and SR5e does. Anyway, as the characters are introduced, they have unused points. Cost being just a flat 1 point within their sections. The characters reflect the ideal rookie version. The Seasoned part has been noted, but not yet fully applied, points wise that is. Credstick values are low. Not to worry, because I am using a different - more uniform resource. Something that was created for the Savage Worlds version of Shadowrun. Which is just as fun to play. Though not really the point of discussion. I wouldn't mind sharing that link, but may end up causing confusion. Its just easy for me to translate. Grabbing gear for the characters will be covered later in this forum thread. Considering the current plot hook in play, it may be a matter of negotiating the cash on hand for more useful things. Like being able to buy cyberware or ability points. I am open to ideas, and it can be kept private for individual character needs. That is what role play can be about. Seeing their world through their eyes. Should be fun, since this game will be focusing on savvy street runners. Alrighty then, I believe I got my subject material out of order. I had originally gone in the direction of using a strain trait to track and manage cyberware. It does originate from the Savage Worlds version. It basically does the same thing as what the original essence trait does. The difference being in how much of an impact augments have on a person. Mundane or Magical. Mages being equally affected by augments as before. Here is a little more into the Essence Priority that was introduced in the Survey. Each of the categories for Physical, Mental, and Essence have two attributes. Essence having Vigor and Spirit. Strain is normally based on the lowest of these two traits. There is an advantage, or positive quality called Cyber Resistant. [Cyber Resistant (rookie) Check Strain Limit per Vigor only, and as plus one die higher.] I don't really have an example to include. Things like the Role traits for Face, Hack, Mage, Brawl, and Merc are open enough to swing to one side or the other. Brawlers could go Samurai or PhysicalAd depending on the skills, strain, and amount of Augmentation. Like Shadowrun Returns, any runner with the right amount of training could become "magically" active. In its original grandeur, Shadowrun wasn't like that. In its Return, the mystery of the Sixth World has been widened. Anything is possible. Luckily, this game is text driven, so I shouldn't worry myself about getting too long-winded. This game isn't really meant to be an experimental forum, or platform to debate rules. I am hoping to teach how I am managing this game, without complicating any players personal knowledge base. This game is more dependent on the story rather than mechanics. However, the need for them is relatively important. Stay Safe, and Happy Gaming!
I look forward to seeing this in action.
Okay Players, I believe I have finished up, as best as I can on the character drafts. They are assigned, and players should be free to edit-in the new skills they might desire for their characters. There are some freebies, based on survey choices. Players are free to use ideal skills, in a flexible fashion as suggested by the current entries. Use the Shadowrun skill list, or a dictionary. It should be fine. I will be nearby to help make any modifications. Unspent points will be listed below their sections. Attribute points may only be spent on Attributes, and Ability points on abilities. If there are any questions, I will do my best to answer them as well. Most everything should be fixed, and applied to the ideal experience levels and backgrounds. Gear will be a little different. My suggestion for now, is to create a shopping list. Keep highest priority items at the top. Send that to me in the Shadowrun PMs and I will get you the basic cost outline for those items. Please consider the current situation, as it may apply to your character. Make the best of the resources. That way, nobody feels like your GM robbed you of any hard work that is already invested into your characters. I will have plenty of time during the active game to actually live up to any GMs reputation. Stay Safe, and Happy Shadowrunning!

The characters are shaping up rather nicely. Considering the nature of the situation, gear may need a close look. All of the characters became indentured to the illegal fight ring. Their non-disposable equipment should be augmentations (if possible). Since everyone was thrown into this collective situation, the disposable equipment would become lost at the moment when each runner was captured. I had suggested an idea earlier, but it seems to have more merit now. What I am willing to do, is allow the players to spend cash on skills and contacts, if augmentation is not an option. Preferably, all of the available cash should be spent. Contacts: New at rating 2 is $500. New at rating 3 is $1000, and they will most likely come looking for the character. Contacts: +1 rating is $500 for current contacts. Skill: New at 1 is $500. Then $250 per +1. Attribute: $500 per +1 to a maximum score of 6, or $1000 per +1 at score 7+. Augment example: Dermal Plate 1 is $1000 and inflicts 1 strain. Bone Reinforcement (plastic) is $1000 and also inflicts 1 strain. ADVANTAGE: New is $1000 (sorry missed it) The characters are now free from their contracts. They don't owe anything for that, but any other existing debts still apply. Of course the problem is that they are stuck on a sinking watercraft. Its actual nature and structure is unknown. Being called a barge, was the easiest way to describe it. As soon as all of the characters are completed and available cash spent, then it will be time to start looking around. Safe to say, the game is properly up and running. I hope I captured everyone's imagination with the first ten minutes of this movie. I do hope it turns out to be an epic! Players, welcome to the game table. Stay Safe, and Happy Shadowrunning!
Yes, yes. The characters are shaping up really well. I am spending as much time as I can to answer questions. As well as edit over the character sheets, and draft macros. A few things I did forget. Perception and Fate. In the case of Shadowrun, Fate, or Edge as it should be called. At the moment I am considering a Bennie system for the Fate. All of the characters currently have 3 fate chips per session. This will be used to help with saves, and re-rolls. Yeah, Luck and Bad Luck can easily come into play as Qualities. The actual advantage adds 1 fate chip, and the hindrance steals 1 fate chip. Anyway, while talking with a player online, Shorty and I were working on the character macros. These will become available in time through the Attributes&Abilities tab on your character sheets. Some actions might default. Typically, this is handled by attribute -1. For example, with Shorty's character, one of his defaults nets a 0 success all of the time. He understands how it will play out for him, so I won't reveal too much about his character. If the bonding moment works, then he know how to manage it in the long run. Perception is not always the case, but as I review each of the characters, I realize this might need to be looked at more closely too. As far as traps and ambushes might go, then this skill might be handy. For some characters, Tactics might be a nice alternate skill. However, it doesn't really cover how a character puts an eyeball to a matter and tries to figure out the scene. We are still in a grace period, much like the pilot episode conditions. Expect changes between 1st and 2nd episode. For the characters, this gives the players a chance to tailor the numbers and traits in small quantities. We don't want to ruin the nature of a character too radically. Stay Safe, and Happy Shadowrunning!
Shazam! What a turn out. The game is easily in full swing. I like how the individual bits and details are slowly merging with each other. Not bad for kicking off the game on Sunday... I think it was Sunday when I wrote the surveys and started my GM prep. Ehh, time flies, right?
So how's posting gonna work? Should we take turns, go in a set order? Or just post if you feel it fits your time to do something, out of combat of course. And is Thursday our designated day to post? Or just come and go as we can?

At the moment, I think the posting is going well. At least matched to the circumstances of the scene. I believe the players are setting the pace. The reading has been great. I typically don't edit anything, but my own stuff. What I did do in the player postings were just space management. Like the pics. I have picked out a few hooks that I am watching with as close eye as possible. Nothing has hit those set of tripwires yet. Ehh... for the story line that is. I guess I can promise there are no explosive devices on board the barge, anymore. Unless you want to count the troll. ehm... Anyway. Maybe PM (evening) is all I might do for posting, but I do check in during the day... and morning. Get a sense where the story is. I have a basic skeleton of a plot line. The parts are laying on the table, and I usually leave them there until I see where the rats are in the maze. Wait... I didn't... well yes. Yes I did mean it that way. Ha haw. I think if we start finding a lull in the writing, or a critical scene crops up, then maybe we can start looking for a time slot for a live session. Over time, we will start learning a more cohesive nature to our writing moods. I mean, role play in general is an interpretive sport. As for determining the frequency of posting, I feel is a judgement call that may be a hit or miss thing. I guess what it boils down to, is maybe not overthink it too much. I think the effort is well balanced, and the players have made sound investment into their characters and embraced the scene so far. The primary goal I set out first, I feel has been achieved. As far as characters go, without the players, they are only an idea. These characters, not quite bonded, are more deeply believable than the sum of their notes.

I guess what Solo and I recently did, is a great example of how things may work overall. I think we can share. At least I can, since I do flip back and forth through the character notes. In Striker's case, I am certain Solo feels a sense of urgency at play. The troll certainly does with how Rev wrote it. Everybody is definitely comfortable in their own words, and how they use them. I believe that is an edge in this game. It could be worse. Anyway, going back to Striker, he is assembling pistols, as best as he can. No tools and a lousy collection of adaptable parts. Obviously other problems are in the mix of his situation as well. Blood soaked and a lot of spent shell casings. At least Striker is aware of it. Other character might as a well. I'm not worried about the level of details. I have faith in the players, otherwise we will learn as we go. Improve the game as we continue. In the meantime, I will continue observing actions and evaluating ability scores. If it must come down to interpreting the dice results, then I can tap on a macro. I know players may want to do their own, and they can. The ability scores are still the a part of the character, no matter who uses the macro. So in Striker's case, I did use one. I kept a mental note of difficulties, and paired them with the results. As far as pacing, I luckily checked in. Solo got what he needed to continue writing - playing Striker's role. For the sake of the action in the story, I do hope it doesn't come off as delayed. The timing in the logistics, behind the story, is where it will be slow. A little like reading one chapter per night in your favorite book. It is part of the course, and it will be a slow paced existence.
Ok fair enough, I just like to have a sort of organization to my RPG's on this site, making it easier for me to keep up with them. But I'll just check in here every few hours during peak times in the day, and if I see a recent post I'll stay by for a while, check in-game, etc. Go with the flow, I can do that.

If with any luck, it brightens your work day (or night) if you can gain access while on the job. I usually do the heavy work while at home, and I can work more quickly with my assets in the tool box. While out and about, I do have my smartphone to do the light reading and build mental notes. I realize that is never the same option with all players. I do get eager and anxious, but make myself relax because players will know their availability best. Heck, that chat you and I had, Shorty, really laid a solid foundation into how your character will work best. Maybe we will get a live session in, with everyone coming to the virtual table top at the same time. Though, I think I have almost dropped in on everyone through the game side. Except Solo.
I must say I'm loving this game so far, it's much easier to keep up with text-based and by God I love Rev's RPing. I wish I was able to write so well and flesh out my character without revealing much of what she can do. I look forward to your posts as they're always wonderful, same with everyone else, this session is probably my favorite that I've participated in using roll20. So thank you everybody! Let's keep on keeping on.
Okay Shadowrunners, first chapter, scene, or part is complete. The characters are open to karma improvement. A little downtime is available.
Fantastic! At the beginning, the focus was on what brought the characters together. The Barge. What an awful place. Clearly a Sixth World manifestation of how life is. Then there was the threat. The Calras. Not the smugglers. Sort of, but definitely the dual nature version of that organism to clean up oil spills in the ocean. Always hungry. An apatite for inanimate objects. It wouldn't typically eat living things, but since it is an ooze that can't remove objects from itself, then as things suffocate it devours them. What and how Qing experienced won't ever have to change. It was very good reading. Qing... yeah, I get that the name is Chinese. Reading it and supposedly hearing it, are two different things. I am glad the pronunciation key is included. That is important for the characters. Maybe even for players too. I mean, as I read it and apply it, I keep going with King. Obviously, my Chinese is as good as my own City Speak. Not great. Amateurish. The language barrier has been a great ordeal. As the skills improve (maybe at least level 2), then where City Speak is concerned, Gibs and Qing will be on the same page. Castien has the best chance to pick up Gift of Gab as an Edge, and then also learn Chinese. Since he is the Face. Not required, because the players know how and where they want to invest into their characters. I mean, with what I have been watching for XP improvements, they have been pretty solid choices.
As an extension off the Language XP post I made as GM, here is something else to consider. If there was any doubt, Qing displays her raw strength. It is intimidating. She tore at the barge's deck plates with bare hands. She is at her racial maximum. If elected to spend a massive 22 XP, she could gain her one and only allowed point of overmax to then gain strength 11. What does this mean, if that is achieved? Not that I am influencing any such decision. Players have free reign toward character investments. The balance or necessity of traits are up to players to figure out. My part, would only be in cost and continuity.

There are a couple of other things character can do. Skill wise, Etiquette and Persuasion and Intimidate are always good to follow up with. But they are typically better when interacting with NPCs, right? Mostly yes, but they can be directed at PCs too. Otherwise, reading a person or judge intentions is perfectly acceptable. Though the answers for something like them, are best found with the players. I would only manage the information that is being harvested from contacts and landscape. Mediating through our Texting format tends to muck up the floor or soapbox, but it is still possible. I am not confident with how it might perform this way, but I am willing to work with anyone who wants to try. Otherwise, we can keep to how it is working for us. The ability and consistency I am seeing from the players, leaves me with a lot of faith in this game. For the most part, you fine clever folks are making this work. Remarkably well, and I appreciate your patience. Especially with me. I may be introducing new things, but these are useful tools I am sharing.
I'm really loving this game, from mechanics to rp. Thanks everybody!
I am considering to open this campaign for public access. It won't - shouldn't hinder what we are doing. As I understand it, it lets other players see and read with a limited access. Such as the forum threads, and the journal pages marked for all all-player. They won't be able to post comments, or join the game. I am wanting to link it back to my games master website. While letting the players take their bragging rights. Any thoughts, or concerns? By the way, I am on Twitter. I reluctantly use Skype. My website is <a href="http://www.game-zombie.com" rel="nofollow">www.game-zombie.com</a> if you want to check it out. It is always a work in progress. Maybe gain some insight towards the kind of mad-man in this office chair role I play.

Nope, fine with either. Also, should we have a group loot folder that we can all see or a forum post? A shared character sheet might work, we could just call it loot/arsenal or something. Figure its easier, then asking each individual character for what the want, we can just divide it up there. Also does the .357 AP ammo work with the other three pistols I had?
I am glad you shared that. Yes, that is a good suggestion for a pool of loot. The Black Market folder in the game, and accessible through the journal, is more of a reference tool. I had placed notes on those pages. I can set that up as an open handout so everyone can edit it. For anything that gets added or taken from its inventory. You would have to launch into game for access. If nobody minds, I'd like to ping Striker for +1 XP on that. Then Qing, Gibs, and Castien can also tally 1 for their Character History with Striker.
Oh yeah... I guess I forgot to answer that. .22 thru .357 I believe is light pistol ammo. I should have just used the 'light pistol' item tag rather than the .357. The AP is armor piercing. Since the Ganger vs. Lonestar is a Metroplex trend.
To pair up with the Loot Folder, I am also dragging over another handout. It is for the Posse details. Yeah, you would get the idea of the name, right? The team details handout is a go to file, to better share your character. I would have liked to see the file have a pic adding ability.
Very much like that annoying side-seat or back-seat driver, who should be navigating better, and then not pointing at the turn your supposed to be making last minute... hey?!? The group must have suspected that we would hit a crossroad with the characters. It might be too early to suggest, but I have an idea to offer. My original plan, by sticking to the main plot arc, is to focus on the main characters. I do have preparation on hand to let characters move on-screen and off-screen. In Qing's case, this is more of a possible reality. Leaving her to do her thing isn't much of a surprise for me. She wouldn't be placed off limits. She has history, and if it really came down to it, she could buy her scenes to go her way. Though, I believe it wouldn't have to come down to that. While discussing details, elsewhere, I had a notion come to mind. My original proposal for a new character does not need to be one sided. The kicker, is how ambitious of a player group are we? If we commit to a second story line, things could easily get clouded or backed up. I can handle added material, and characters. However, this would be extra work for all other players. While I offer this to the players, I am okay if we would rather stick to the one story line. Qing might change her mind, or have a change of heart. Though I would have to consider that out of character for her. Unless written very well to convince me otherwise. Not the first time that has happened. However, as we follow Qing to off-screen activity, I suspect she will find what she wants. The obvious character objective. As GM, I want what the player wants. Of course, that is never easy, and I believe it held true. Even in this format. I feel we won't exactly be saying good bye to the character, nor the player. I feel a new character is in order, and I have an idea how to get the new role into the right scene. I am open to feedback here. What are your thoughts? What does the group want to do? What does the players want to do?
Don't get me wrong. There are options I see, and wanted to share while we are at a moment in the story to see them. By no means, is this a way to push Qing out. The circumstances, the effort, and the difficulties is placing the opportunity here for Qing. The honest choices. I had a heavy enough hand in the beginning. Back in the Barge scenes. I came to a realization, that this game can't be done like other games. All of the players have ownership and investment. Not just myself. I am okay, with however it might pass in the story threads.
Hmm.... First, a question, would Qing(the player) like to stick with the group? If you need a way back in, I do have Idea, but only if the player wants me to will I do it. Below are some ideas I have on how to move on from this crossroad, paths if you will. Mostly I'm good with what ever happens because I'm having fun. Idea 1: (If everyone is ok with a second character) My idea is that Qing(the player) gets a new character because in Shadowrun you really need a group of at least 4 to get the most of it, that works with the other original three characters(if your willing to play one). And then we each get a second character that works with Qing, with a slightly more normal background(for shadowrun at least) if everyone is willing to play a second character. If everyone is willing to play a second character, I think we should just make another campaign, for simplicity we could call it Digital Divide 2. And we play on. Idea 2: (Qing does her own thing, but still works with the other three) If no one really wants to play a second story line, but Qing is still wants/willing to do two things. We could just play with the time line, and let Qing do her own thing between events with the main group. Will be difficult to track timeline, but seems fun. Idea 3: (I prevent all of this at the request of the other two players....) Don't really want too go against another player, but am open to being persuaded. Especially since the heart of Shadowrun is to be sandboxy and kind of do your own thing, in my opinion.

I do agree with the sandboxy thing. I don't really have any doubts toward Rev sticking with the game. As far as option 2, the off-screen and on-screen tools help with that. Mainly my bid is sticking the main plot arc. In a way, in the back of my mind, the situation would be more like an intervention. I feel there was necessity for this topic. I didn't mean for it to explode the game. However, I very much want all of the players to understand what kind of spotlight moment this situation is. I want the scenes - both or more - to play out. I want to see what happens. And especially prevent any blind-sided issues. The players should be involved, and the decisions carried out through the characters.
uhh... that last bit could have gone unsaid. That's role play. Right? Like duhh... I guess I am just caught up in the excitement.
As for a second campaign... I lit up on the idea a while ago, but now as I am thinking on it ...hrmmn, not so sure. I wouldn't want to believe it would be difficult, but that might hinder my other things, and then also slow this game down. I will be okay if we just dismiss that idea.
Something tells me Qing's (wait a minute, isn't that her surname?) ganger aspirations will go badly and she'll return to her "friends". Her main goal is getting money, yes? Once we get some proper work we'll be back together and happily ever after. Right?
1437431524

Edited 1437431578
Yeah, I just listed all the options I a saw. Didn't think all of them were good, I'm hoping I get to do Idea(3) with Rev's approval hopefully because: 1) my mischievous or chaotic side thinks it would be fun 2) I think it will keep the original 4 together 3) I think it will just be hilarious or exciting, possibly both But don't want to be a jerk as a player, only my character get's to be a jerk when ever he wants.....
Whatever happens to my character happens to her. I am doing my best to RP Qing as Qing, not as myself. The meeting could go horribly wrong. People could interfere. Maybe there will be police. Maybe they'll use her for a job and then abandon her. They are gangers. I don't know. My only intent with her going to the gangers is that "it's something Qing would do." Her personality, beliefs, history and experiences are what drive my RP with her. Whatever it is that your character would do Engin33r then go for it. Whatever situation befalls Qing I will have her react to it how her personality and persona demands.

Well... before we get too far ahead of ourselves. Be sure to understand, Striker could be facing some vile badness in his near future. I have settled up on some ideas, and are about to role with them. Since it is partially safe to say, Striker did follow Qing. He is more in the one thread as an observer, than the other. I mean, 3 orks and 3 trolls. Not admitting to anything, it is possible in that situation to make everthing go sideways. So a little added caution.
I am glad everyone is involved with the discussion, and that players are aware toward what may come down. Good, Bad, or Ugly.
Just a heads up, Gibs will probably try to spend some of this nuyen burning a hole in his pocket soon. Probably on a bullet resistant coat of some kind. I'm not sure how you want to handle inventory management and purchases.
Role Play for sure. Build up contacts, and decide how to approach Wildcard. He might have some suggestions. Striker is out of the scene, but he has some off-screen work being done between the two active scenes. I just need to get caught up on its details. The answers are there, and more will be added. Hopefully before Gibs goes shopping.
Okay okay okay... I see the green light offered by Rev. Striker could interfere with the scene, but he won't change the outcome. The ork is dead. The gang is pleased, and are about to answer the situation with Qing. The choice being driven by the character. As GM, I can see how Rev could change the interference to a no. To do that, I would recommend enticing Engin33r with 1 XP from the character history point pool. The situation only applies to these characters, since they are in the scene. This point should be used as a settlement, to absolutely keep Striker from acting. It is not a required expectation to offer the point. Leaving it alone. Not offering the point, leaves Striker in a position to act or react. He would be left to making the decision for himself. He is a big boy, right? We seen him wear big boy pants before. Also, the lack of a point, doesn't mean he must interfere. This is all being presented as options, since we haven't had an opportunity to see how this might all pan out. Taking advantage of character history, should always be up to the player. In this particular case, Qing has ownership of the scene. Her decision seems spelled out. Striker snuck in, and is seemingly in a safe spot at the moment. He has useful information either way. Getting involved right now is a serious gambit, and it could come with a high cost. How do you fine clever folks want to play it out? Who would be the next to post in the closed thread? Me as the gang leader, or Engin33r as Striker. McHuff and Shorty can weigh in here, but Gibs and Castien can't. Qing can easily be the swing vote. If Striker does, would he be in for the mischief he can cause?

Alternatively, if somebody must get an XP out of this. Engin33r could offer Rev an XP to Qing, which would allow Striker a chance at the interference. He could also leave the tuskers alone, not entice from character history. Rev and Engin33r could keep things cool. No points exchanged, and then let me role for the Gang Leader.
I will give Striker 1XP to Striker to act as his character would.
So... Maybe you need to join us in live chat. I forgot I left it on.
This is cool. So basically ask Striker, what would Striker do?
PLACE YOUR BETS! Round and Round the Ball Goes. What Number? What Color? Who wins? Who dies? Who flat out loses any say?
Jeeze Whiz... I think this new format hurts my eyes.

Yesterday morning, I had no idea what would be coming for the afternoon. Yesterday afternoon, I wasn't sure how today would turn out. This morning, still not so sure, but I had all of the conversations in mind. Greater forces at work. Players or the Setting? Sixth World. What is in the setting? I think everyone bet on Black, and everybody won. But there is more to the story. More to what could have happened. There is a gem of story waiting to be seen. Will the runners find it?
Okay. Back to the player's side of the table. Yes, I am very aware that Rev loves this troll character. I think Qing is a remarkable character. She has driven the story, distracted the story, and bonded the characters in some way. Qing won't be forgotten. She just won't be seen a little while. It won't be a matter of "if" we see her again. We will see her again. When? What changes? She had a personal objective. Striker had a personal objective. Gibs and Castien rolled on an objective. It is all good. Everybody won something, but at different levels. Striker lost what he was aiming for, but won something else. Hopefully it is something knowledgeable. Shareable. The unfortunate circumstance. Qing is unavailable for a little while. Rev's new character is waiting to be seen. As soon as we get the new character details worked out. In the meantime... wait... I think I have a little more reading to do. To see what else happens. I will get back to that thought.
Okay. Got distracted. It was Dinner Time.&nbsp; Yes, I went ahead and closed scenes down. A lot of what the story was showing, would be inevitable. It was fun to see how it was going to turn out. Striker did put a lot into his plan. Right course I believe, but no backup. Good tactics with the distraction and cover. Well, I don't need to dissect the scenes apart. I think they all worked out well. Time to move the story forward. Get it caught up to the off-screen activity. In the meantime, a few players can take a break. Rev and I have some details to discover, and I got a new scene to workout and get open.
A lot of off-screen heat over the last two days. I hope you are ready to tackle ACT 2.
Your fine clever characters have been added to the Safehouse role call.&nbsp; <a href="https://sites.google.com/a/game-zombie.com/pacific-crush/safehouse" rel="nofollow">https://sites.google.com/a/game-zombie.com/pacific-crush/safehouse</a>
If your character should ever suspect any shenanigans are afoot, then check the rumormill.&nbsp; <a href="https://sites.google.com/a/game-zombie.com/pacific-crush/rumormill" rel="nofollow">https://sites.google.com/a/game-zombie.com/pacific-crush/rumormill</a>

I guess, I had imagined we were synced up in the pacing. Anyway, I had figured the "Side Track" scene would be a good vehicle to go from Court Tavern, back to the Warehouse, and then onto the Mission. Since we lost momentum, I will put it to player decision. Use It, or Skip It? And then gloss-over how we get Striker back on-screen. Gametime-wise, the runners are within a few short hours of the gang-ambush, Qing leaving, and getting the job.
Sorry, I missed the Side-Track thread completely! I'm going on vacation for the next week so my posting will be inconsistent.
Vacation! Yay!
