Just wanted to get some input from people but didn't want to talk to my players about it as I didn't want to spoil things, I also realise that some of you might not have used this module and so for the OP post I'm keeping most of the content neutral and spoiler free, but it might contain spoilers in later posts. I've been running the 3ed series of standalone adventures with my group. We've finished The Sunless Citadel and we're coming to the end of The Forge of Fury, so I was looking through The Speaker in Dreams to make sure that I had everything that I needed and checked everything for differences between 3rd and 3.5. While looking through, I noticed that some of the NPC info was a bit light. Some of the NPCs are named, but there's not really any more info about them, or the info is really really difficult to find. Specifically, I'm talking about the Temple of Pelor. The main Cleric there is named, but there is no other info about him (though it's kinda obvious that he's a cleric of Pelor). Obviously, I can make up myself what his race is, but I'm not sure what level would be suitable. Bearing in mind the levels of the town clerics in the first two modules, do you think that Cleric level 7 would be about right? Also, how many fellow clerics etc do you think would work with him. Again, going by the first two modules, I was thinking about 4 clerics of lower levels. Due to campaign specific stuff, I'm pretty sure it will be the first place that they head for and the module almost seems to assume that they won't. It's also based more on RP than rolls etc so they will be expecting to be able to interact with people wherever they go. (I make a list of names/add named tokens as we go through depending on their interactions with the NPCs they come accross for this reason)
