Telling G+ Hangouts to switch to the Roll20 app

My group just had our first session trying Roll20 via Hangouts. One confounding issue we had was that when you click on the picture of whoever is talking, (so navigate to that view), you seem to leave the Roll20 app and there is no way back to it! We had to quit and rejoin the Hangout to reconnect to the campaign. Is there a way around this? That is, is there a way to tell Hangouts "I would like to load this app" ? We also had one player that could not get the Roll20 app to load. They connected to the Hangout just fine, but had no way of getting into the campaign. All other players were prompted to join when they connected to the Hangout, but not this person. A way of letting them explicitly say "I want to run this app" would fix the problem... is there way? Thanks!
Hi Joel, For your first question, the only way I have found to get back into the game is to refresh the page. I'm not the most experienced with using Roll20 in Hangouts but from my testing that seems to be the only way that works. For the 2nd part, have him/her clear his cache first and reload his browser. If that still does not solve it, have him/her trying using a different browser (if he is using firefox, try Chrome and vice versa). I would send him/her these steps: Can you please follow Steps 1-3 of our Solving Technical Issues wiki page, taking special care to temporarily disable all browser add-ons and extensions, temporarily pause your anti-virus, and try switching browsers (for Chrome/Firefox specific issues) to see if one of those components is causing the problem. If all of that fails, please follow Step 4 , including providing all of the necessary information, so that we can further assist you. If that does not solve the issue for him/her, could you have him post here so I can follow up with him/her. Thanks!
