Keeping player tokens between maps

I think there should be a setting that allows you to automatically transfer player tokens between maps when you drag the players to a new map. That way, as a GM I do not have to put the token in place again and re-input player token information.

If I recall correctly you can copy and paste minis to the different map pages.
I've been considering of making a personal page for the storage of minis with their stats.
You also should be able to pull the images themselves from your gallery.

Right now, copy-paste works. I think a "send to map" option would be great - a right-click option, for instance.

The trick is where to place the new tokens - I'm thinking a "holding pen" location so that they're not dropped into a location that gives away some GM's secret. Of course, that means a second feature too - the Holding Pen.

Assuming you use fog of war you could just have the player and or NPC tagged token objects follow where the "Players" ribbon is for the maps. Gets frustrating quickly having to move 5 or 6 players every time you switch map pages.

What I would like to see is a way to link tokens to the characters you assign players.
This could either be by assigning a token to the character directly and you could then drop that into each map. Or by allowing you to link the token to a character that has been created.

Once linked a token would maintain all stat changes with the character, such that any other linked tokens on other maps would also be updated.

This would allow DMs to setup the PCs in the starting area of each map and have their stats updated automatically on map change.

This is a feature I'd really like - since as it stands I've got to drag the icons from my computer and reupload them every time I want to put the players on a new map - which really kinda sucks.

it'd also be nice to track the players' HP and stuff from one source instead of having a billion character tokens floating around.
