Persistent Player Token Settings Across Multiple Pages

The token settings are extremely useful, but I find that every time I switch pages in order to draw a new map, I have to re-enable bar visibility and names for tokens for all my players, as the setting to allow for health bars to show up or the token names doesn't save across pages. Not needing to redo token settings every time a new page was used would save a lot of hassle, for persistent tokens like those linked to character sheets. (5e specific)

Those settings will transfer with the Token if you select the Tokens, and hit "Copy" before moving to the New Page. When you get to the New Page, "Paste" and the tokens will arrive with the settings as before.

Additionally please read this Tips & Tricks page in the Wiki Docs concerning "Linking Tokens to Journals". If you follow this page's advice, most token settings will be linked properly and saved in the Journal, so that these settings will not need to be re-done if you use the method of dragging the Token out of the Journal. This Tips & Tricks page explains how you must set the Token settings before you Link the Token to the Journal, and if you mistakenly linked the token first, you can go back and re-do the Token links now, to help preserve those settings when you drop the token again in the future,

Hope this helps!
Alexander, if you set a token up exactly how you like it then go to a character sheet and make that token linked then you can click and drag the character sheet out onto the new page and tada now all of your settings for the token have been saved.

As this is already a feature of the game, when one properly sets up a default token, I shall close this thread and refund the vote.
