Lost Mine of Phandelver campaign. New Players definitely welcome as this is a 5e starter set. The plan is to a core set of players that have solid availability. Currently would like to play as a PC if I can find a DM willing to run the campaign. I will already have the encounters and maps all set. Feel free to change them around as needed. I can send a willing DM any files they will need once I finish setting everything up. If no DM is found of course I will run the campaign. Need players of course also. Ideal party would be 1 or 2 frontline classes, a ranged or other non frontline damage class and a healer. Base starting stats, 15, 12, 12, 11, 11, 11 organized however you wish. If a DM is found I intend to play a Cleric so the healer part will be covered. So for now I will not be looking for a healer unless a DM cannot be found. https://app.roll20.net/campaigns/details/914506/lost-mine-of-phandelver for more info. Age: 25 Character Name: Mordekai Race/Class: Tiefling Bard Brief Character Background: Noble; Mordekai's mother was a Tiefling sorceress who fell in love with a lord. To gain the acceptance of the lord, she cast a powerful illusion about herself to hide her infernal heritage. When Mordekai was born, his mother cast a similar spell on him, hiding his race, even from himself. When Mordekai was 12, his mother fell ill and refused to see any healers, lest they recognize her illusion, and so she died. With her, died the spell concealing Mordekai. Seeing himself for the first time, a confused Mordekai sought his father who, not recognizing him, chased him from the house. Sad and angry, he cut his horns from his head and took to the forest roads. Mordekai was then found by a band of gnomish Minstrels who had been passing through the estate and took him in, teaching him the bardic arts of entertainment and trickery. One gnome even fit his cast off horns with a fixture to attach them to his head when he desired. Now Mordekai seeks acceptance through his skill, both musical and magical, where his infernal heritage would see him rejected. He revels in deceiving those who see themselves as his betters, often to their monetary loss, through song and sorcery. D&D 5e experience: DM for about 2 months, read the P.H. and D.M.G., avid consumer of forgotten realms lore from books and video games.
Age 25 Character Name Malrik Race/Class Half-orc fighter (Eldritch knight eventually) Brief Character Background- Left in the care of one of his human father's trade ship captains, Malrik grew up know nothing of his true parentage. Probably for the best as Malrik's father had only married his mother to lure her clan into a false sense of security before they were slaughtered. His true name, his human name given to him at birth is Anton Falone, but he barely even knows this. He confronted the captain about this but before the story could be told in whole his ship was attacked and it's crew murdered. Malrik was throw overboard only to wash up on a deserted Island, that wasn't as deserted as it appeared. A great and terrible warlock also lived on the island, it was little effort for the warlock to control him and Malrik soon found himself in the warlocks service. He trained with the warlock learning bits of the powerful magics commanded by his master, and served as a bodyguard whenever they would leave the island. It was a couple years before he had regained his own will enough to slay his warlock master in the dead of night. He would be free again, free to travel the seas, free to find the truth about his parents. D&D 5e experience- none , some 3.5 from a while ago
