I'm looking for Story Driven players who aren't afraid of also digging into the complexities of a crunchy combat. Game is 50% RP, 50% combat. This game is meant to be a medium term game, with 8 to 10 sessions planned. Since it's home brew I don't have a ton of reference material, but we can discuss characters directly, and i'm sufficiently flexible on the specifics. There are 7 Player Races, dozens of subcultures, and a massive amount of lore to explore. As well I tend to focus on 'epic gameplay', So while your characters will be fairly weak to start out, you can basically expect them to end up being more powerful than The Avengers by the end, with challenges appropriate to that level of play. I'm trying to cross sci-fi with superhero, so you can never have enough awesome. I mean that literally. I want players who approach the story with awe, in the sense that when they do something incredible they understand how incredible it is. It's a hard thing to capture but with the right players it works, and it ends being a game that people talk about years later. Here is a brief Primer if your interested in learning more sbout the universe. Titan's Reach Primer I'm looking to start the game in 2 to 3 weeks. We are looking to play a weekday evening though I am flexible on the specific day. I tend to be fairly picky about my players. I'm easy to get along with, but I put alot of work into my games, so I like it when players have just as much enthusiasm for their characters that I do for running the game. You also need to be sure you can dedicate the time. I try to give all players some player specific plot, and it can ruin a game if I plan one around you and you don't show. We play using a blanket EXP with a point buy system. Players can reward bonus EXP to other players at the end of the game, and everyone can get bonus EXP by doing some kind of creative thing about their character weekly. This is usually a journal but things like artwork, photo-shops, ect are totally acceptable. Journals are optional, but I enjoy them, and I think they help people get into the game and into their characters. Anyways, if your interested, please PM me, and we can set up a time to chat on Skype. Thanks! PS. Newbies and 20 year vets are both welcome. So long as you can take and make a joke, and enjoy good role-playing, we will work out great. However, I don't know most of you, so if you flake on me, I will drop you like a bad habit. A newb who shows up is 50 times better than a flakey vet. ~ Bryan
