image storage question

Currently, because I cannot drag and drop images into my art library, I drag them onto my map, download them from the map, and then upload them into the library. However, that means that even the free images from art search sidebar gets copied by upload. Does that count as twice in storage? Is there a way I can add images to my library from the art list directly? -Falsoon
When you search for an image using the side-bar, there's a golden star next to each image result. Clicking that star adds it to your library without taking up space. Anything from the sidebar doesn't count towards your storage.
Mark, Thanks. I knew about the golden star, but not that it would add it to the library. I thought it only marked it for reference. Saves a lot of trouble!
Does that mean that I can delete all the images that are not in my art library to reduce quota space? Are duplicates counted twice, or merely linked?
