Cannot zoom

OS: Linux (Ubuntu 12.04) Browser: Chrome (28.0.1500.52) When I attempt to zoom in or out (from the standard 100%), the dropdown menu appears briefly, and disappears. I cannot use the dropdown to choose any other size other than the standard 100%. In the brief instant it is visible, there are no other values even visible in the dropdown, it appears blank.

Until this is fixed have you tried using the alt+mousewheel zoom?  - Gauss

It does not show the proper zoom amount. But it works, which is better than what I was seeing. :)

The failed to load resource is not relevant to this issue. It means an image that is being loaded from the net didnt load properly.  - Gauss

i don't see anything else worthwhile in the console, then. I was using Win7 when I signed up and everything worked fine. Could it be a problem with Ubuntu?
