If you haven't guessed, already - a battle at Dellmon Ranch is inevitable. I hoped to have some general information put up about the family and guests defending Dellmon Ranch, but it's really not looking like I'm going to have the time. But... the board is pretty much set over on Roll20. You can launch the campaign to get a feel of the defenders based off their token images, I think. Brief Synopsis: Kerbin Dellmon : Patriarch of the Dellmon family. Looks like he can handle his rapier, but is by no means a soldier. Regardless, the defenders follow his orders with little hesitation. Erned Stoutblade : A knight who came to help defend the homesteads against the orcs. He looks to be the most bad ass amongst the homestead meager militia. He's armed and armored well and looks like he's seen his share of battles already. And he really hates orcs. Dreena Dellmon : Kerbin's middle child and only daughter. An up-and-coming member of the Emerald Enclave and a druid of meager talent. Branikan and Stowal : Dwarven brothers that serve the Dellmon as the blacksmiths and forge masters. They carry traditional dwarven axes and seem to have a decent idea of how to use them. They are very stubborn and very loyal to each other and it would seem to take every machinery to pull them apart. They go everywhere together even if ordered otherwise. Perd Dellmon : Kerbin's eldest son seems to take after him a lot. He, too, seems like he knows how to use his rapier and to delegate, but might not be the most useful warrior. Marka Dellmon : Perd's wife is the family's de facto leader of the hunters. She has some skill with a bow. Fyndrick Dellmon : Kerbin's youngest son is in charge of the farm's security and thus is the leader of the guards. He has trained and knows how to fight. He will even boast about a few of the bandits he and his staff have fought off over the years. Warriors : Fyndrick has four warriors/guards under his command. They are as seasoned as one might expect a guard to be. Hunters : Two human hunters round out Marka's hunting crew. Like Marka, they can use their bows lethally if needed, but are not soldiers. Commoners : 12 able-bodied commoners make up a host of farm-hands, ranchers and others who stayed behind to make a stand against the orcs. Some of them are armed with crude weaponry. :: For game purposes, I'm just counting them all as having a spear and short bow, to makes things a little easier. Flameron Verminbane : A halfling scout and a member of the Emerald Enclave and also the delegation to the elves. All of these people have chosen to stay and fight even though they've all had a clear chance to evacuate the area before the orcs arrived. They are defending their homes and each of them think it is worth risking their lives to do so. Any attempt to talk one of them into leaving would be at a disadvantage.
