Hiding light sources that are later in the dungeon/hidden by line of sight?

So I have just started working with line of sight and the light tools for roll 20. I have fleshed out a pretty large dungeon for the next part of the adventure. But the big issue so far is. How do I hide them? I dont want them to scroll along the map and see all the stuff for later on. or for them to see a light source the would be hidden by line of sight. Is there some option I am missing? fog of war seems to do the trick, just wondering if there is a simpiler option.
If I understand what you're saying correctly, your players *won't* see any light sources that are not within the line-of-sight of their characters on the map. As the GM, you can see everything on the map of course. But your players only see what is within the line-of-sight of the character(s) assigned to them.
I actually figure it out. The tokens didnt have the right settings.

"Update on drop" will help prevent a player from just moving their token all over your map to see the dark areas. You can enable line of sight and restrict movement as well. If a player has an open path between your dynamic lighting barriers, they will still be able to see areas of your map by moving their token. You can use "doors" or similar to prevent free roaming. Just remove the door DL when appropriate. Mentors have access to an API script that can lock the player's token down as another option.

It is also helpful when building maps to have a token available so that you can check your set-up by using the Ctrl+L (Cmd+L) option. This allows you to view the map as the selected token without having to log as a player. Clicking elsewhere will clear the view. The Dynamic Lighting wiki page will be a huge help.

Something else that will help, as you say you have a large map, is to enable Fog of War , leaving an area around the PC's starting area clear. Once everyone is on the page and you've read/displayed the starting ambiance/whatever, remove the fog of war entirely. It has been noted that slow internet connections allow people to sometimes see what should otherwise be hidden by the shadows, and this is the work around of choice. Do this at the start of each time you're using the map, and your secrets will (more likely) stay hidden. Happy gaming! ^_^
Thank you guys! It was a matter of not knowing the CTRl+L and not giving my player tokens sight.
If you're worried about a player logging in between game sessions and doing a recon of your map, you can also just drag the player tab to a different screen once you're finished playing. I keep what I call a "landing page" available for just that purpose.
