Hi, I am brand new to table top games, never playing one in my life, and I am interested in learning to play one. If it is possible, I would like to join a game and have a few people help me learn how to play a game of DnD 4e or 3.5e whichever is more convenient to new players! Any time suites me perfectly fine!

ditto, I was tired of looking for people to play that I know (most people look at me like 'm crazy when I mention wanting to play DnD). If you find some help, let me know as well.  Looks like a lot of people use Skype: jesusreport <---skype name. I believe I have 3.5 books (DM, Monster and player), if that matters.
