Item Wish List

Just reposting this from FTG, while I'm happy to keep looking up interesting items to give out, if people have items they want, they should post them here. Not that you'll necessarily get all of them, you have gold for a reason, but certainly I probably have different tastes from you and it might help nudge my decisions.
So ah, no one has any prefence for items at all?
There are a number of interesting items, but I think the unspoken consensus was to accept whatever gets picked up
I'm fine with that. I am happy with how many magic items I have already.
But, but, the DMG says I need to ask, I don't want to be a bad DM. =P More seriously, I am still happy to give out items, I know enough about the system to pick out effective items and having to look at items would be yet another thing to learn, just, yeah, the offer is still standing. Related to the above the Dungeon Master's Guide does literally call for the DM to ask for a list of items of 3-5 items per player per level, though I guess that makes the assumption that the players and DM know about the same about the items (note that a list that long means that only about ~20% of it gets given out). What I think is effective is not necessarily interesting, and what is effective for many builds isn't necessarily ideal for a specific build. Sort of related I was reviewing the items given out so far given us getting a 6th person again, and has the Ruby Scabbard being used at all? It was sort of planned to be used by Teeta or Daisy, but Teeta is gone and Daisy can just two-weapon fight, plus I don't normally make a big deal about drawing weapons, I generally assume the party in dangerous places has weapons at the ready. If it hasn't been used, does anyone object to it being retconned/transmogrified into another item that might be more immediately useful? (Coughhackwheeze armour when half way through heroic you only have 3 suits of it.) I suppose the bag of holding is sort of similar but at least gets remembered, is 'iconic D&D', and lets me hand wave encumbrance for the party. The demonskin tattoo was nearly considered for this but I don't have an item in mind to change it too, plus I think when elemental damage has come up it's been remembered (just either on another character or I roll 19x2 damage ^^"). TL;DR: Has the ruby scabbard actually been used yet. If no, does anyone care if I change it.
The ruby scabbard has not been used yet, and I would not care if it is changed. And hrm, about the items then... I've only looked at weapons though hah. Of them for +1 (Lvl3-5), Aegis Blade looked cool and swordmage-y, Stormbiter Blade for guiltily obvious reasons lmao but also ayyyy things go crackle, and Runic Weapon looked cool because I have a weakness for runes/glyphs/sigils/signets/symbols/wheeze. also temp hp never hurts.

At level 5, the item range to ask for is more like 6-10 (Level +1 to Level +4). Also yeah, don't feel like you're forced to look through items, it's really just a reminder of that if you see something you like, asking me for it is basically expected. For what it's worth I looked at Aegis Blade and Runic Weapon when deciding on what enchantment the Khopesh should have, so, good taste. XD

So now that we have some new players, I'll give this an update. If you're new to 4e, don't worry about this, I'll keep finding interesting items to give out. If you have some experience with 4e, an item wishlist would be great to help me narrow down my search and ensure I'm giving out items that will actually be used.
Now that we have new players, I feel the need to bump this; If anyone has an idea on the items they want in the near future, they should include a wishlist so I can include at least some of them in the near future, otherwise I'll just keep using items I like, which is fine but might not suit your character.
+2 Incisive dagger, +2 cloak of distortion and siberys shard of the mage (level 3)
any chance for a high level ioun stone I am notsurfe what the highest spell level the ioun stone hold
Hey all, new player here. I'm having a hard time coming up with a Wishlist for Zyflud, Mostly because this is my first time playing an Ardent (but I've played plenty of leaders of different classes) and since Ardents don't use implements like Clerics and other Leaders do, I don't know what specifically to ask for.
I can certainly include an ioun stone later on, but the lowest level they'll appear as loot is level 17, as the weakest ioun stone in 4e is level 21. If you had a slotless item though you wanted, you could certainly call it an ioun stone though and reskin it. No ioun stone in 4e holds spells though (and I can't think of any in 3.5 either, that's more the preview of pearls, rings, scrolls), so if you can tell me the effect you wanted, I could hunt down an item that did what you want. Well, Ardents don't use implements, like Warlords and Runepriests, so plenty of not implement leader based items. Beyond weapons, armour, and neck slots (which I still need to redo with well, basically a new party), is there anything in another slots you'd be interested in? https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/2087403/start-ti... Say level 11 or below, particularly level 7 or below as the minimum level for loot going forward is meant to be level 8. Last question mainly at Clawshrimpy but it's an open question for everyone if they have any familiarity with items at all and something they want. Not that it means you will get it, but I'll consider it.
I looked and took a look at a few basic things I think might work with my character For armor, the Psionic-centric magic armor with the power point augmentable powers seem good, though I'm not sure which one would be best for Ardent. Dunno about weapons, just keep in mind my character uses a Longsword. (and most Ardent powers seem to be weapon attacks that use Charisma, so maybe that narrows it down some.) For other things? Neck: Brooch of No Regrets sounds pretty useful (Adventurer's Vault, the +2 version is level 8) Cloak: Cloak of Translocation (Adventurer's Vault 2. would work well with some of my teleport powers, level 9) I dunno about Neck, Arms, Hands, or Feet, most of the good ones in that level range are more suited for other people probably. That's just what I could find in that level range.
maybe a ring or cirlet the holds a diamond or sapphire that can hold a lightening charge so I can discharge it once a day hope this he;ps
Hi Claw, would you rather play a striker or controller? I have a leader in the wings and I can bring her up instead of Charmander.
You two figure it out. I have some of powers currently chosen to work with Charmander, so it will help knowing before the next session~
Leader is actually my preferred role, if that's okay? Plus I just got done working in all the house rules and I'd rather not start over so close to the session.

^^" Might be nice if people use forum topics for what they're meant to be used for, not just what was on top, especially when players can make their own topics. PMs also exist. Just a thought. Anyway, I'm going to take that no one else has preferenes for items if I do them tonight after uni/tomorrow morning.

Scroll of Healing (well, I mean, scrolls aren't really a thing anymore... but basically, it's just in the name... it's more or less a consumable magical item... or a single-use ritual, I suppose?) Wands of any type. I'm in the market for wands, so long as they don't have the same spells as Rifkin's own. That being said... i'm not sure about those spells which have material componnents, but would a wand negate the need for those? Or would they need to be additionally supplied?
Scrolls still exist, every ritual has a scroll form. Though there are about 3 sort of 'healing' rituals I can think about, comrades succor to move around healing surges, raise dead which does what it says on the tin, and ease spirit which removes the penalty of being raised. There are still consumables that heal, but they largely come in potion form. Wands in general can contain at-will spells of arcane classes as encounter powers, though the drawback is you need to actually attack with them. Still, I'll keep it in mind, or +1 Wands (with effects) would range from 520 to 1,000 gp, and you've got some 3K to spend if you so choose. No spell in 4e has material components. Rituals do, but wands can't contain rituals.
Cryo, does this list still work for your psion, or would the aberrant hunter like actually useful trinkets, instead of the mad collection of toys for an artificer? All the same, getting the hint I need to drop some Figurines of Wonderous Power. xD
THIS LIST IS IMMACULATE IN ITS CONTENTS.
