Expert Rules: We will be using the Expert Rules for this game play, which adds more stuff! Character: FROM HERE ON OUT: When a player would level, you gain HP depending on your class (Or class type): Fighters/Paladins gain 1d10 HP per level, Rogues/Clerics gain 1d6 per level, Mages and Casters gain 1d4 per level. Skills: Communication skill will be called Charisma. That simple :p Mana: Mana will be calculated as such: Your HP + Knowledge + Mind bonus Mana will be used to cast spells and such. Magic: Spells will now only use Mana as a resource instead of HP UNLESS otherwise stated. Extending: Makes a spell last twice as long as it normally would. An Extended spell costs an additional 2 mana per level. Empowering: Makes a spell do 50% more damage than it normally would. An Empowered spell costs an additional 4 mana per level. Widening: Makes a spell’s area of effect twice as big as it would normally be. A Widened spell costs an additional 6 mana per level. Combat: Combat has been changed! Each round is 6 seconds and each turn is 1 minute Everything listed under time/duration in spells and effects lasts 1/10th of what's listed (ONLY IN COMBAT.) Spell durations will NOT change outside of combat. MOVEMENT: Movement will be done as listed: Small/Tiny = 4 squares (20 ft.) Medium/Average = 6 squares (30 ft.) Large/Huge = 8 squares (40ft.) GENERAL (IMPORTANT STUFF): No Grid! That's right, no more grids. HOWEVER, we will be using the spacebar movement in game.
