I have GMed a few times, the first time felt rocky, second time was ok, but after that I didn't do it for a long time, mostly because I couldn't get my friends together. To occupy my time I tried to make new campaigns but I always got stuck with inspiration and how I should go about making a map. A few months ago i tried to get a game together, I thought I was organised but I wasn't and as a result I had to improvise everything down to fudging rolls, after little more than an hour I was sweating and gave them an excuse as to why I had to end it early. Ever since then I've been using roll in an attempt to get back into GMing but when I'm making a campaign I freeze up, I have a basic idea but I can't put it into detail, I know how to use the map tools but I don't know how. I also have this fear of players calling me out on faulty logic, most of which is related to level design. Is any of this a common thing?
