Editor crashes my browser

I had a similar problem to a previous poster (Rob K.) in that my Ubuntu 14 and Firefox 39.0 weren't getting along, keeping me on a load screen. Cleared my cache, and it all worked beautifully..... For about 14 seconds. Then my entire browser (R20 was the only thing I had open) shut down while I was trying to do stuff in my journal, and gave me the crash window. My friends and I suspect it may have to do with the update, since that was the day stuff started on, but frankly I'm at a loss here.

Hi Maddwaffles, I have the same version of Firefox/Ubuntu and so far I am not encountering this issue. This only persists in Firefox right?  Can you please follow Steps 1-3 of our Solving Technical Issues wiki page, taking special care to temporarily disable all browser add-ons and extensions, temporarily pause your anti-virus, and try switching browsers (for Chrome/Firefox specific issues) to see if one of those components is causing the problem. If all of that fails, please follow Step 4 , including providing all of the necessary information, so that we can further assist you.
