Date: 24-25 Reaping, 609 CY Attendance: Cat, Wulrakas, Virgil. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Recap: The following morning, at roughly 2:00 AM, the Sea Wolf plows head-on into a hurricane. Tawnee Tauv, hired on as a guide to lead the party to Crow Town, summons Woolie and Cat (the only adventurers who are awake) to discuss a potential shortcut. Rather than sail all the way to Seaton and then take the trading road north, she suggests that they disembark at the much closer town of 'Waverock' and then traverse across rugged, unmapped terrain to reach their destination. Cat seems eager to leave this way, but they still have over a month to decide. On the 25th the hurricane finally subsides. On deck, the co-pilot notices something in the distance. It's a derelict vessel, half-sunk and with two corpses aboard. Cat, Virgil and Woolie board the ship to search for survivors. When they open the hatch to the lower decks they're attacked by a maniacal dwarf who eventually commits suicide by leaping into the ocean while still wearing his armor. Cat and Virgil proceed to leap down into the flooded lower decks. Cat immediately begins to drown, but he is wrestled from death after Woolie successfully performs CPR. Virgil once again leaps down into the lower decks and this time finds a chest under the water.
