Both Shield Punch and Shield Rush are described in detail on page 46. Again, for the punch , you would have to back out of the square that you were in, which I don't think is what you want. In either case, the chance of success is based upon opposed strength checks. If a monster is stronger than you, then that would not help you I'm afraid, but, that's the gamble you would face with that tactic, I suppose. Be aware that you forfeit any shield bonuses that round, so if the monsters come after you in the init order, your AC will be worse. Not to mention if you fail your attack roll (since you don't have a high enough dexterity with reaction adjustment to offset the attack roll penalty) you have to make a dexterity check to see if you stay on your feet, otherwise you'll be on the floor with Balfon, at the mercy of the undead creatures, with no AC bonuses at all, spending round after round just trying to stand up! Even if the attack is successful, the monster has a save vs. death to not be knocked down.
