Token sizing vs. Map sizing

Hi! I'm smack in the beginning of my learning curve with Roll20, but I have a question I haven't found an answer to in the documentation: I'm using Madcowchef's Geomorphic Tiles (already scaled to 71 pixels) in conjunction with Devin Night's Token Packs (which are designed for Roll20). However, the tokens end up being uploaded as a massive size...like a dead fowl takes up 2 x 6 squares! I know I can manually re-size it, but I'd rather not do that for every dang token I upload. Is there some elegant solution to get tokens to resize automatically in appropriate scale to the map?

The token designers are asked to make their tokens roughly 2x the 'normal' size so that they hold clarity when re-sized (both up and down).
The tokens will have to be resized, there is really no way around it. They have great resolution and you wouldn't want to loose that. To resize them with out having to guess. You can right click on the token and select advanced and set the token dimensions from there, the standard would be 1 unit by 1 unit.

Drop tokens on a Grid-enabled map-page and they will first appear in 1x1. Go to your Page settings and enable the GRID. (Choose a scale that you like for the grid, such as 5 feet = 1 unit, square grid, works nicely). See Page Settings Wiki Docs, https://wiki.roll20.net/Page_Settings With the Grid turned on, Drag-and-drop your Tokens from your Art Library Search, onto your Token Layer. They will appear sized to 1x1. This is correct for many tokens. Most of Devin's character tokens are made for 1x1 and will appear nicely if dropped on a Grid. If the token is oblong shaped (2x1) you will still need to stretch to resize it. If the token represents a Huge or Gargantuan creature or building, you will still need to stretch it (2x2, 4x4, 4x6, etc). Note: When you want to drop a MAP or other graphic which you don't want it to appear in 1x1 grid, drag-and-drop the map onto the GM Layer, and then resize it, and then right-click and choose move to Map Layer. Note 2: If you do not want a Grid, you can enable the grid during the time you are dropping tokens, and then go back to Page Settings and disable the grid.
Thanks Gold, the key thing I was missing was drag-and-dropping Tokens from the Art Library Search, rather than just doing it directly dragging a JPEG onto the map.
