Thread topic. I know there's many voluntary GMs out there but I know for a fact there's less of them than potential playgroups. Would you think that a playgroup would shell out money to have someone GM their sessions?
Last year there were several LFG listings for paid campaigns. They caused some flame wars as people bickered over whether charging for gaming was okay, but I can tell you that at least one of them was successful, as I'm in it, along with four others. I remember one of the campaigns advertised was $30 for the full campaign (I don't recall if that was per player or total). The one I'm in is $5/session per player.
