5e character sheets are broken in Edge browser

Hi, The sheets appear to be broken using Microsoft's new Edge browser. None of the auto calculations are working - no modifiers etc. Verified with a couple of different players in our group using Edge.

It's not unique to the 5e sheets. There is an open bug for it.
Thanks for the response Mark.

I can't find the bug in my 5 mins of searching. Short summary is IE (and Edge) are not supported by Roll20. Use Chrome or Firefox.
I will use Chrome and Firefox until Edge gets more mature, but both Chrome and Firefox are memory hogs and I can't wait to be able to ditch them.

You'll actually find that edge uses more memory. See http://www.expertreviews.co.uk/software/operating-... 765MB vs 517 on chrome and 457 on IE. CPU usage is nearly double as well.
There's currently a known issue that they're working on. I'm an application architect in real life and we've conducted extensive testing across a wide range of applications. In some cases Edge uses 1/10th the memory of Chrome. In about a month or two after they roll out some fixes it will be the fastest browser on the market. Also given Windows 10 adoption rate I would not be surprised if it surpasses Firefox market share over the next 6 months. I plan on never using those browsers again, and if the roll20 devs don't move with the times then fantansy grounds sure will start to look appealing.

So you're going to switch from a web based app to an app that only works on windows desktops because of the hypothetical day that Microsoft's browser is finally the best browser again? Ya..... ok. I've dealt with IE for far too many years - far too many promises that this would finally be the version that brings MS back. That said: https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/2192294/slug%7D Add your views there and roll20 will support it if the user base of edge becomes big enough.
Also just so you know roll20 is so nice and fast in Edge. Some of our players in Chrome have their computers crash from memory leaks. It would be a terrible shame for roll20 to not give Edge a proper look because its a Microsoft browser.
What is this edge you speak of? (Mint user) :) I'm weary of anything out of the official MS office. Chromium I can actually verify how they do their MM due to the open source Chromium project. With Edge, you're taking them at their word.

Since this is getting far off-topic, I'll go ahead and close this thread. At this time Chrome and Firefox (stable only, no beta or nightly releases) are the only supported browsers for Roll20. Use all others at your own risk.
