I know this is a long shot, but I wonder if it would be possible to add functionality to import assets packaged for Battlegrounds into Roll20. Obviously they are competing products, so people are likely to use one or the other, but it would be nice if Roll20 users could take advantage of some of the content (maps, tokens, etc) out there that only exists as a Battlegrounds file. As a programmer, I suspect that the technical end of this is either much simpler than it seems or much MUCH harder (my money is on the latter), and there may be additional licensing/DRM concerns on the part of the actual content creators, but I think it's something that would be worth considering. Perhaps some kind of common tool which Roll20 users could use to import Battlegrounds assets and vice versa. It would could be something that would bring additional users and/or revenue to both sites, but whether the return is worth the investment is far from certain. As a user, I would absolutely LOVE this move. In a recent search for tokens and other art packs for my campaign, I came across a lot of really good content that is only available for Battlegrounds. However, I already have a significant amount of time and money invested in Roll20 and have no real desire to switch. So the selfish little me figured I would put my idea out there and see what people think. Long shot? Yes Going to happen? Probably not Crazy awesome if it did? HELL YES :-)
