Song of Blades and Heroes

LFG to play the min wargame Song of Blades and Heroes. No trouble for new players as I am happy to teach the game.  The idea would be to play some skirmishes and have a good time.  Games should go pretty quick so it is no problem to have multiple folks waiting to play at one time.  This really isn't a roleplaying game though, so there will be zero RP.  Otherwise, should be a fun time.
I'm curious how you would measure distances? They removed the hex rules in the most recent edition because they didn't really work.
I thought to use the measuring tool with Base= 1 inch, Short= 3 inches, Medium= 5 Inches, and Long= 7 inches.  It isn't an exact, but a close approximation.  The maps are set to 36x 36 inches.
I'd be interested in giving it a go. I'm pretty new to SOBH but I made this warband using the warband builder,  ;Ogre Warband Ogre Warchief;71;4;4;true;Big,Fearless,Heavy Armor,Leader,Savage;; Ogre Champion;56;4;5;false;Big,Fearless,Heavy Armor,Savage;; Ogre Warrior (ALT);51;4;5;false;Big,Fearless,Savage;; Ogre Warrior (ALT);51;4;5;false;Big,Fearless,Savage;; Goblin Archer;21;4;2;false;Shooter: Medium;; Goblin Archer;21;4;2;false;Shooter: Medium;; Goblin Shaman;30;3;0;true;Magic-User;; Would that work?
This is the first I've heard of this game but after doing a bit of research I' have to say I'm bit interested. I'm away on a trip now and viewing this on a tablet but once I get home and take a look at the rules I think I'm likely to want to join in.

Cross, sounds good.  Monster, haven't seen the true special ability.  You are one point over your allotment on your warband, but provided your opponents don't mind I think it should be fine.  Edit- Ah, True is for personalities and false is for troops.
Depending on when you plan on playing I wouldn't mind trying it out.  I played these rules at a con with french and Austrian soldiers. It was pretty fun.
Nice! I actually started with Ganesha in Napoleonic, then moved to F and I War.  The plan is to play Monday around 8:30 central time.
Actually, the first game will be August 24 at 8:15 Central Time.

I'm in! I've played Song of Blades and Heroes on here a few times already, and look forward to playing some more.
Hi Adam,  I just purchased these rules.  They look very interesting!  Anyway, I would love to join the group and observe a few games while I read the rules through.
Sounds good. The rules do take some getting used to, and I still make mistakes.  Once everyone has a good grasp of the rules, it shouldn't be a problem.
