I'm not entirely sure how possible this is, but basically the players of a campaign I'm in and the GM got into a misunderstanding about the house rules the GM came up with. The players wanted to slowly integrate them instead of having everything dropped in all at once. The GM thought the players were outright rejecting them and deleted the journals containing them. Would there be any way for him to recover the journals?
