Get rid of the autoplaying background music?

Roll20 just started autoplaying background music when I start up my game. I don't want music. How do I turn this off (not just turn the volume all the way down, but actually remove this music from my campaign).

Do you have songs listed and playing from the Jukebox tab (right sidebar)? "Roll20 Tavern Noise..." is playing in the image below. Toggle play/pause.

If you are the GM of the game, go to the Jukebox tab (4th tab, has the symbol of a musical note) and scroll down the list until you find the entry which is playing. You can remove music via the 'remove' link that appears when you mouseover the specific musical entry. In this image, you can see that my Rain Loop is playing, because it has a 'pause' rather than a 'play' graphic. If this doesn't help, report back and we'll get into troubleshooting.

(See, this is what happens when I don't reload the tab before finalizing my answer! Good work, Vince! :) )

BTW Kathryn O, if you are a player in the game and you do not want the music, the only option you have is to use the "Master music volume level" slider from the My Settings tab.
I am the GM. I want to have music listed as something available to play, I just don't want it to play unless I specifically tell it to - not pick some random thing and play it.

There is a quirk with the jukebox: Music that is not set to loop has to be manually turned off or it will start playing again when you play some other music, or perhaps in this case when you re-enter the game.

I must admit I often have the background music playing when I'm working on my game set-up, and I forget to turn it off when I close the site. When I do forget I find it does automatically start playing as soon as I log back in. Also I have a number of tavern songs that I play over the top of the ambient background tavern sounds. These are not on a loop and so should only play through once and then stop. However, unless I un-click the play button to put them manually back on pause I noticed that they do start again if I leave the page and come back to it for any reason.
I have noticed something myself; if you're a GM [ Owner or just assigned as such ] Looping music [ Set up as such, or not ] does not loop for you. It will only loop for those assigned as players, and they'll either complain or not tell you something else is still playing. Personally, I feel the Jukebox needs a small patch of its own. It may be third party - but it needs to be playing as and when you want it to, as it stands it just keeps going. An auto-stop feature might be prudent if you've got Loop deselected. This should include for cases where the GM leaves, it should auto-stop as well.

Gary, you'll likely be pleased then to hear, as listed here ( https://app.roll20.net/forum/permalink/2258965/ ): we're going to be doing a "mini update" which will probably take around 6 weeks to complete that will allow us to focus primarily on the Jukebox feature, as well as some other things that we had to cut at the last minute from the Interface Initiative update because we ran out of time (like a new in-app tutorial for new users to replace our aging videos).
