Roll20 Wiki Personal Tools

I've noticed that I have a Personal Tools section in the Roll20 Wiki, where I'm able to edit my own pages, and just wondered what other people use it for, if anything.  I couldn't find any guidance on using it, but I assume everyone has one.

Special:Contributions/userid simply lists all of the edits you've made (or the person whose userid is supplied, but your userid is used for the "Contributions" link in the navbar). Special:Watchlist shows you which pages you're watching that have been changed recently. You can watch a page by ticking the appropriate checkbox when editing a page, or using Special:EditWatchlist or Special:EditWatchlist/raw. Special:Preferences, obviously, lets you change your preferences for the wiki. The other two links in the Personal Tools section are your userpage (User:userid) and your user talk page (User talk:userid). User talk pages are primarily designed for getting into touch with other wiki users. However, with the website's PM system, that has limited utility. Userpages are basically your own personal corner of the wiki to put pretty much whatever you want on there. Most people will put some information about themselves on their main userpage. There are  Userbox Templates you can use for your userpage to add pre-packaged bits of info about yourself, although most of the currently existing userboxes mark achievements you've earned on your profile. You can also create subpages of your userpage. For example, my main userpage is User:235259. The page User:235259/Signature stores my talk page signature: by making the text of my "Signature" box in my preferences be "{{SUBST:User:235259/Signature}}", I get the content of my signature subpage whenever I write "~~~~" on a page. I also have User:235259/Sandbox for testing things out without making a bunch of changes to a real wiki page. You can even create sub-sub pages (and so on), such as User:235259/Sandbox/Formal Pwercard Syntax
So can anybody else see the content you create on these pages? I'm assuming as they are called personal then anything posted on them is for your own personal reference.

Anyone can see your userpage (and by extension, your user talk page). In fact, just like every other page on the wiki (that isn't protected), anyone can edit them, too. The user talk page doesn't even serve its function unless others can edit it. It's generally considered kinda rude to edit someone else's userpage, though, and of course, like all wiki pages, you can always go to the page history and roll back changes made to it. Anyone can see your contributions listing, as well. In fact, a link to your contributions is by default part of your signature, which you should leave (using "~~~~") on any comments you make on any talk page. However, it's just a list of each edit you've made on the wiki. Nobody else can see your preferences or watchlist.

Brian, very interesting information and instructions. There's a lot of Wiki-fu that I didn't know about. Thanks for posting/sharing. Thanks also anyone who has done improvements/editing in the wiki docs.
