Option to disable drawing tools for players

I really love the drawing tool as a DM, but in the campaign I run and in a few that my friends play in/run, there are always a few players that spend most of their time drawing and not paying attention to what is going on, even after multiple warnings to stop drawing. Would it be possible to have a way to disable players from using the drawing tools and making it DM only?
Sounds like you need more mature players :)
Disable the players.

You're the GM. If your players aren't paying attention, then either threaten to kick them or threaten to stop GMing the session. If they really care about the game, they'll straighten out and show you some respect. If they don't, you shouldn't be bothering going through all the work needed to GM for them. When not abused, the drawing tools helps with tactics and problem solving better than just pinging on the Tabletop can. If you have players that won't stop drawing, then they'll find another source of distraction from the game even if you were able to disable the feature. They're either there to play your game or just wasting everyone else's time.
I would love to see it the other way around, allowing players to add tokens. This way they could add their own players and in case of an unexpected encounter it would speed up things if for example , one player searches for orcs , the next player adds a few trees etc. while I arrange and assign things. I think a good option would be a pagesetting to allow edit functions to the players on that page only.

You should start a new thread with this suggestion if one doesn't already exist. It also takes a bit of the load off the GM which is always a good thing. As far as disabling features for players to keep them "in the game", I agree with the other comments. That wouldn't fix the situation. They'd probably just find something else to distract them and then their attention would be completely away from the game screen. Try incorporating things in your sessions that play a bit more to their style to keep them interested maybe? It's always hard keeping everyone in a group happy.

You can already do it by giving the players the status of co-GM. After some thinking about disabling drawing tools for players, I am not so sure anymore that it is useless. Whilst it is your problem as GM to choose your players and be clear about what is acceptable or not during the game, it stands true only for your usual group with known players. If I was to propose a game to complete strangers, I think I would like the possibility to disable drawings. It would prevent immature players to completely ruin a game before being kicked out. I don't play with strangers, so I don't feel over concerned about it, but I can see a use.
I've got to agree with this point If I was to propose a game to complete strangers, I think I would like the possibility to disable drawings. It would prevent immature players to completely ruin a game before being kicked out. I don't play with strangers, so I don't feel over concerned about it, but I can see a use. Especially with the looking for group functionality, this could prevent people from coming on and causing major problems for otherwise decent campaigns.
Be nice if players couldn't DRAW cards, sometimes they like to just play when i'm giving out story
