Synovia x Mayor Devron

Synovia returns to the Mayors office after speaking with Hemlock and knocks on the door.
The guard by the door shakes her head and stops Synovia's knock, "Mayor Deverin would not like to be disturbed, Synovia." "If it's her..." comes a familiar voice from inside. The guard pulls aside and opens the door for Synovia.
"I am sorry for disturbing you Kendra. I promise it is not bad news." she says with a smile. "I was just curious if you had asked Amieko to help deal with the old bat society? I also wanted to apologize for losing my temper eariler. It did not help the situation."
Kendra sighs. "I...didn't. Myrtle has worked hard to create the Women's Council. After she lost her husband to another woman, she was a shell of herself. It felt badly for...trying to take the steam out of her hard work but I NEVER thought she'd try something so low-handed as to try for my seat!"  The mayor rubs her fingers idly. "I can understand you losing your temper and I wish I could have but..." she sighs again and throws her hands up in the air. "It's done, Synovia. All I can do now is hope Miro and Bobole's plan to civilize those creatures works," she says the last without much conviction.
Synovia walks over and places her hand on she shoulder. "Kendra, just as Ameiko has been a mother to me these past 5 years since the fire, you have been like my aunt. You were there for me during the most trying time of my life. It's is now my turn to help you out. Let me talk with Ameiko and see if she is willing to help out. Then I will go to Myrtle and apologize for my rudeness. Maybe between a little wisdom from Ameiko, and a little intimidation from me, we can work things out with the league. As far as Miro's plan goes, not too long ago Half-Orcs were considered to be beasts, and now they are accepted as members of the town. I have faith in most of this town."
The mayor sighs deeply and rest her hand over Synovia's. "You know, if I didn't dye my hair it'd be grey than the winter sea caps... But I suppose you're right, dear. This town has seen much in it's short history and I think that what we need is a little...perspective." She smiles. "If you four have taught me anything in this past 2 weeks, it's that anything is possible of you're just damned determined! And I've got determination in spades." She winks.
'There are 3 people in Sandpoint who, for good or bad, have shaped me into the person I have become. That is you, Ameiko and Hemlock. Don't forget how strong you are. Don't let these events undermine your confidence. My determination is in large part due to you. This town could not be in better hands if Desna herself was Mayor."
