[5e] One on one campaign

Does anyone here DM one on one campaigns? I would like to play one at some point and just wanted to know if it was a common thing to do.
It's a very different game than group games.  What are you trying to get from a 1-on-1 game? I've done them in the past, and it is much more intensive for both the DM and player.  If you are only doing it because you are shy of groups, I would say do your best to join a small group of players.  A small group experience (2-3 players) is more robust, just because you have more differences of opinion as you involve other players.  A single-player experience really misses that. On the other hand, 1-player games can be very character focused, and make for a great shared storytelling exercise.  The DM and player really need to know what they want from the story though, or they can just end up wandering around a lot. If you are interested in a 1-on-1, PM me and we can discuss details.

While it is not a common style of gaming, there are occasional postings. I am moving this thread to the looking for games and I would recommend posting what you are looking, your timezone, any specific day or time you can play, etc... I would also recommend you make sure your profile is up to date also.
I didn't put this in looking for games because i'm not actively looking for a game. This was a post to ask DMs if this was a style of game they ran regularly so I would know in the future.

Ah then my response should have been: Due to time constraints in keeping Roll20 going, we only allow discussion directly related to the interface here on the forums. As this is a general open question about GM styles you might try Wizard's forums or the D&D subreddit for your question.
okay thats fine
