Is anyone running a Hackmaster game, or wanting to find people to play Hackmaster Basic?

Hoping I can generate some interest here, I'd like to give it a go.

Times of availability would be evenings mostly, after 6pm PST. Monday and Tuesday are currently great days. Saturday Evenings after 7pm are also open.

I'm still looking.
If it comes down to it, I'll GM but be warned it would be a first for me.
I DM for a D&D group on mondays that is over by that time and would have time for another session of some kind but haven't ever played this before but would be okay with learning if you have some experience and time before everything was to start up

I have no experience with this at all. I just read up on the actual game, and saw that they have some basic rules for playing so I thought it would be great to give it a go.
I don't have any experience GMing either though, so if I did it, it would be really rough going.

It's been my experience with Hackmaster that it works best if you can get with the GM before hand to roll up a character, otherwise the entire first session is just going to be character creation for everyone. I'm honestly not sure about the new system, but having been a level 2 GM in the old one, character creation can be time consuming. However, the characters you end up with tend to be alot more fleshed out and diverse than ones made under other game systems.

I think it's best to speak with any GM beforehand for rolling characters and to do it on free time. I find rolling characters as the first session to be rather frustrating
