Background:
Your character needs to have some sort of tie to the town of
Kassen. (I will dig up maps and send them out later) The starting premise is
that you have been selected to participate in the Lighting of the Everflame
Ceremony. Every 20 years or so, promising youth from the town of Kassen are
selected to make a journey to Ekat Kassen’s crypt (founder of Kassen) and return
to town with a torch ignited in the everburning flame located near his grave.
Almost with out fail, the young participants in this ceremony accrue great
wealth and power in their life, or die horribly and
violently.
I do not think it is crucial that your character be from
Kassen, just make an attempt to explain why he/she would be a candidate for such
an honor.
