Personal custom tokens

I am creating personal tokens on gimp and token tool, but what steps do I need to do now to to put them into my campaign so they are usable for myself and my players? I had them take pictures of their mini's so we could use them as their token so they are more familiar with them. I am watching tutorials to prevent other questions I may have later.

Once you are done creating/collecting your images, all you need to do is upload them to your  art library . You can drag and drop(from a local source to your art library window or directly to the editor) or use the upload tool from the art library.  I would also recommend tagging images as you import them to help with searching later.  Players really don't have access to your art assets.  You will have to add images for their character portraits and tokens.  You can even create a  rollable table of multiple images that would allow the GM or a player to use an image from the list for the token.  Great for multiple views, or shape-changing characters.

The filenames of the graphics will become searchable in your Roll20 art library similar to as-if they were tags, with the added benefit you'll also be able to find the token graphics in your computer, keep them organized, and won't need to enter those filename words as Roll20 Tags later. Example, when creating your Character's tokens in computer or when exporting from Token Tool, name the files: Billy-Human-Fighter-Sword-BenjaminQuest-Token.png Sally-Elf-Cleric-Mace-BenjaminQuest-Token.png Lil-Halfling-Rogue-Dagger-BenjaminQuest-Token.png This technique should help you find & organize & place them quickly after uploading as they will already be findable by the words in the name.
