Session 11 log and stuff

We arrive at the blueboy HQ and prepare to assault the building, hoping to loot the building and catch the leaders, all while having enough time to make the race later that day. We decided to sneak into the building, flip on our jammers and screens, and try to take out the enemy. We check for external security systems. Our diligence is rewarded as we notice and knock out a laser alarm system. Climbing some stairs we find ourselves confronted with an airlock door. Opening the door, we see two armed robots, slightly putting a dent in our plan to throw in smoke and doze grenades to clear the room. We still throw in smoke, and activate IR jammers. Behind a door near the robots is a human, who we take out with little difficulty. After taking him out, we notice another guy, but debate on how to take him out without damaging too much equipment. While dealing with that guy, Yaz hears someone say sick um, and a group of dog comes out barking. A tangler grenade later, and the dogs are eliminated from being threats. Yaz proceeds to slaughter them. Continuing forward we engage more blueboys, and even more blueboys, when finally one of the bosses (Arlye) shows up. Joseph ends up having to run through a firefight to heal Eusyl, who was shot a few times. The boss retreats, and the group explores further. Running into more Robots, Kyle manages to deactivate them. Yaz gets hit with a lazor, but an albeto screen saves her. Turning a corner, we run into more trouble, including an odd labcoat guy, and Alye. The labcoat guy tells them to quiet down. Arlye and gurry were both downed, then the third blueboy boss is found hiding behind a wall, who we hit with a tangler grenade. Due to a grenade, we accidently almost meltdown an atomic generator. The labcoat guy turns out to be a video editor named Doctor I. The videos have a rather smutty name however, leading one to question if he is a doctor at all. We negotiate to open the vault in exchange for helping Maro to leave the planet unharmed. Now we have to begin renovating the building to become our new home, preferably before the police and gangs show up.
For reference, it's "Doctor Eye" and his "video chamber"... an infamous NPC and location the last time I ran this same campaign.
Notes about ongoing "tasks" for next session: 1) Secure / acquire the BlueBoys' base 2) Open the triplet's vault 3) Deal with the atomic generator (it's not going to go critical, but it's still kinda leaky now...) 4) The space race 5) Anything else?

Rod worth will a) Call Alice's Man Servant b) register our Company, NEON TYGER Troubleshooters c)Get a sign commission for our New Company Building d) Deal with Artemis and the Valkyries - I will do my best Jake Elwood https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aY4YOsjCI-Q
Because we have a lot happening in a short amount of time, I wanted to suggest a plan of action that would maximize results. We have only about six hours before people have to be heading up to the station for the race. And the session's only going to be 3 hours at best so we should be ready with a plan beforehand. Immediately: Call The Styrigis. We can determine quickly whether we can claim this building. We may need to allow the police access for investigation. Reprogram the robots to slave to our command. If yes, then we fix and/or shut down the nuclear reactor. We reprogram the robots and set up as much security as we can. If no, we strip what we can with the maximum value vs. portability and get out. Everyone's coming here and we don't want to be here when they do. We staydose the twin and put him in a cryochamber. We're not going to get to the Vault before the race so that's got to be postponed at least for a day. Staydose will take care of that. We'll need to figure out how to camoflage him since we've agreed to get him offplanet safe and sound after the Vault raid and the cops will be looking for him. Maybe burn another body and seed it with his DNA (hopefully something Joseph can trick up). Before the race: Get personnel to hospital. Joseph's normally the dralasite for the job but he has to get ready for the race and there's not time. Eusyl's hurt enough to be a liablity. If it can be done quickly enough, she would volunteer to sit at the base with other teammembers while Joe and Rodworth go up for the race. After the race: If Rodworth wins, we'll need to rethink things. If not, then we wake the Twin and get to the Vault ASAP. There's probably some other things but I think this covers what we'd be need to be doing as the session begins...
I dont think Rodworth is the person racing, it's a Dralasite that has been "prep'ed" for this race. Technically we dont get anything from this, Joseph was the person invited to partake in the bounty and I believe it is just a bunch of credits - not the space station or anything like that. So it really is up to Joseph to bring the group in and share the bounty. I agree with the headquarters and getting the Styrigis involved. Rod was reaching out to them, what would be helpful would be legally having the building set to be owned by Neon Tyger Corp (which means we need to register the corp with all of us as equal part owners) and request police assistance in ensuring it is locked down. While Rod is handling that, Yaz and 1 other person (not sure who) would go about evaluating the equipment - probably Kyle because of his computer skillz. Someone else would get Eusyl to the hospital. While Joseph goes and does the race thing - not sure if someone can, or should, go with him. I definitely agree that putting the leader in cryo is a good idea as we will not be able to get to the vault right away. The party already needs to split just to accomplish what we have going on. The only concern is the longer we wait, the more folks will know/think we have the keys and what they unlock - that is not attention we want to have when we do move to find the vault.
Rod worth was intending to race on his own.... Our characters are unaware of Joseph's deal so it's up to him how he wants to split his fee, if at all. We've got the cash to register immediately if Alice is willing to back our play so that should work as you've described it. I expect Joe and rod will go up together and then split up when they're getting ready.
BTW, where are we on experience? I've got some decisions to make. I'll have enough to get to level 4 in Technician or to spread out some combat and maybe add a level to robotics.

If I'm not mistaken, should the creativity piece be submitted, we'll be at 90 total. I believe that was the banter at the end of the session.
i was going to race, but since i could not prepare for it that off. Joseph is only person who actually engaged in the race. I not sure if he require any of our help. I do have a plan, first joseph doing major surgery on alex character to get her up. Securing the Generator and getting the warbots back online and using the police to secure the building for us while we explore the vault. I have a back up plan or two, we need to see how it goes.
Creative Attempt: Lay Low, Ye'ole Boy Here lay the remains of the Blue Boys, They paid no heed to their misdeeds, and now lay low from what they have sown. Full of greed, they fell to their awful schemes. And, when given a chance to repent, they thought themselves the better men. They learned of their folly a little to late to forgive and forget, And now the scales have been set. A symmetry of justice, what was wrong is set asunder, pulled from this land with vigor and haste, done at the hands of ones who proved themselves best.
Oooo, cool. I like it.
All expected players were on time. +1 xp Log complete: +1 xp Creativity complete: +1 xp Objective: Blue Boys defunct: +3 xp Objective: Catch (or kill) the leaders: +3 xp Objective: The keys to the triplet's vault: +3 xp Total: +12 xp This sets you all to 93 xp. Regarding the spacesuit race - contenders would have needed to register last year (before the game started). There are only a limited number of available slots as racers. However, if you really want to get into the race, you might be able to buy one of the teams out from their position. Of course, each team had to pay 1000cr to register, so expect the price to be higher than that - barring unusual circumstances.

I keep hearing the tune of the Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald when I read that poem...
