Complete Newbie Player LFG Pathfinder

Hey. I'm Matt. I'm fairly new. Fairly new meaning not having officially done a game yet. That's off-putting to some people, and I obviously understand if they don't choose me for their group because of that. I've played enough games to know how tough it can be to teach a newer player. and how that might hamper a game. But for anyone willing to handle a player that is ready and willing to learn, read on! I've seen plenty of playings of Pathfinder from various sources (Andrew from DawnforgedCast for one) and you won't have to teach me incredibly simple stuff like what a d20 is and how to figure out the result of your skill check. But I'm sick of just reading all this stuff and learning that way when experiencing it might be the easiest way to go. I mean, I could spend weeks absorbing all the knitty-gritty rulings and how every single concept works, but more than likely I'm not going to be needing it all, especially in a single session. Personally, I wanted to try out a cleric (surprise, right?), but whatever works out I can try to roll it up. I'd also prefer a campaign starting at level 1 so I can understand the progression, but again I'm not picky. Even if you don't want to have me join your group, maybe even if someone is willing to do a practice/one-on-one session to show me all I need to know...? I'm not sure if that's a far-out thing or something that people do ^_^'. I'm Eastern Standard Time, and I'm willing to do this at any time during Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. Personally I don't wanna have to wake up an ridiculous times early or late in day, but if it works out that way so be it.
Hey Matt, I'm Nick, and like you I'm also looking for a Pathfinder group. My thread: here I'm a veteran player, more than willing to teach newer players tricks and the like to being a successful adventurer (ultimately it's about what you want to do and how to achieve that). I'f you'd like, I'm trying to get a group of adventurers together with similar available play times to use to find a GM (normally I would GM Pathfinder and I have before, but I'm running two other games currently and just don't have the time to plan it out). Let me know!
I'm sorry I can't offer you two a campaign, but I can offer you a chance to play one shot pathfinder games pretty much at any time that people are up for it. I'll GM, but if I'm not available at the time, someone else is welcome to do so. The description in the link basically explains everything - it may not be to your liking depending on a lot of factors. https://app.roll20.net/campaigns/details/161501/casual-pathfinder-one-shots

New-to-pathfinder player here; the one-shot games with some tutelage sound fantastic. Edit: I believe this is the correct link https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/6738/casual-pathfinder-one-shots
