NPC/Token Movement Routines

I would really love to see a feature that would let me make NPCs/Tokens have a preset route of movement. The reason I thought of this was I created a tavern setting and would love to have the tavern employees make their rounds through the bar. This would be a cool feature for say, guards in a city, townsfolk in a market, animals in the woods, etc. You should be able to control how fast they move through the preset route and if the route could loop or not. Looping would be useful for a guard on patrol through the city, while non looping would be great for the townsfolk in a market. This could be a cool feature for being in a nuetral area (seedy part of town, bandit camp) where depending on a players movement random fights could occur, final fantasy style if they try to occupy the same space on the grid. If the player attempts to enter a NPC token space or vice versa the GM could start a fight/interaction between the two.

This might be something that can be accomplished with the API scripts. Since you have access to the Pro perks of Roll20, in addition to your Suggestion, you could also ask on the API sub-forum about how to accomplish this with a script. I believe there is already a script that can do something like this. API Forum, <a href="https://app.roll20.net/forum/category/46806" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/forum/category/46806</a>

I don't believe he's finished it, just pointing out the discussion.&nbsp;
This was item 15 in my post DM Wish List over 8 months ago. &nbsp;I discussed how it could be programmed. &nbsp; <a href="https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/1528008/dm-wish-" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/1528008/dm-wish-</a>...
