Regeneration for the bar stats?

So in a lot of systems, there is regeneration (or fast-healing in D&D, or whatever).  In other words, just a passive +whatever per round. There is also a working initiative counter. Would it be possible to integrate some sort of automatic "when you hit next on the initiative order, Green / Blue / Red goes up by X amount" feature?  I imagine it would be incredibly useful to a number of DMs and players. 
Its out there now - that's what the API give you, if you become a mentor. There are a lot of scripts that do things like that already written, and more being put up by users on a regular basis as specific needs are met for different games.
