Player Directory Cleanup, Remove Inactive Players.

I would like to offer a suggestion i have not seen yet. The player directory currently shows all players irrelevant of activity. There are so many players with accounts that have 0 hours played with entry dates of over a year old. I use the Directory while looking for players, but its such a tedium to see so many unused accounts in whats supposed to be a active player directory. Perhaps an options would be to AUTO Check the opt out box, after 1 year from your start if you have 0 hours played. Is there any way to filter theses out to create more substantial list of ACTIVE players to search from. I am sure there are many players whom want to be noticed in the directory that simply disappear in the background noise of all the unused accounts. LMK your thoughts.
I think they did this a few months ago: https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/1977290/update-5-slash-20-improved-player-directory-and-new-roll-template-features/?pageforid=1977290

Hi Scott, Re: https://app.roll20.net/playerdirectory/search/ Player Directory could surely benefit from some improvements. The feedback you provided is welcome. Manveti's link is on point for what I'm talking about here too. The specific suggestion of "Remove inactive players" was addressed (in Roll20 updates within the last few months), and those improvements are reflected in the current way the Directory works. There should not be inactive accounts in the Directory because of these recent improvements; however as you found, there may be inexperienced accounts. Here is a short description of the way it seems to be intended to work presently. Your feedback is welcome on the question of whether it is functioning as you would like it & how to improve upon this basis. Player Directory only shows Players who have marked that game system on their Player Profile under "Actively Seeking Group For". This field expires after a period of time (I believe it's roughly every 3 months, though this parameter could change) and Roll20 notifies the Player that their listing expired and the player can choose to click and renew their listing if they wish. Players are supposed to be currently automatically removed from the Player Directory for a game unless they renew the "Actively Seeking Group" listing on their profile every 3 months. The removal does not contemplate the other fields you mentioned (Number of Hours Played, or how long they have been a member of Roll20). People with 0 hours are able to advertise themselves as available in the Player Directory. Players who registered more than a year ago, likewise, are able to list themselves in the Directory. In either case, the catch that makes them "Active" is the fact they have re-listed their self in the Player Directory within the last 3 months. Here is the description of the "Actively Seeking Group" field, Adding games to this field will automatically list you in the Player Directory so GMs can find you and invite you to join their games. Please only include games you're ready to join in the next few weeks.
