Ok, I though we ( the GMs ) may want to have mechanism to discuss how to rule specific situations that are either poorly contemplated or lacking in 5e. We could start making "Ruling Proposal" posts to discuss things and then we could either take a vote or Sonic could tyrannically make the decision. Starting with the changeling: In 5e, RAW for the changeling's ability in the Eberron unearth arcana are: " Shapechanger . As an action, you can polymorph into any humanoid of your size that you have seen, or back into your true form. However, your equipment does not change with you. If you die, you revert to your natural appearance." "... any humanoid you have seen" is OP as **** and I don't wanna be that guy so I'd propose adding a bit more complexity: "... any humanoid you have seen in the last minute 5 minutes , back to your true form or into one of of your memorized Alias . Alias are forms that you have studied and committed to memory in order be able to revert to them at any time. You have a maximum number of alias of 1 + your INT modifier (minimum 1 for negative modifiers) and you must keep track of them in your character sheet. You can chose to replace one of your alias with the form your are currently using but that requires you to spend 3 days in that form continuously in order to commit it's details to memory." Son what do you guys think of my changeling? I'm obviously a bit bias since I just started playing one.
