Date: 27 Goodmonth, 609 CY Attendance: Wulrakas, N'Nera, Cat, Virgil ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Recap: The priest is magically healed by N'Nera and he proceeds to divulge information concerning the cult. He says that his family had a past with them, and that they willingly sacrificed themselves to the leader -- Drogin Firebrand -- years prior, which caused the priest to plot a mission of revenge. Unfortunately he's weak; too weak to take on the cult, made evident by his near-death experience when confronting them. He decides to leave Drogin and the cult's fate up to the adventurers, but not before providing N'Nera with three flasks of holy water. After donning his new, sleek black plate mail, Wooly and the rest of the party approach the mausoleum, said to be the cult's main headquarters. They're greeted by a blind, undead gnoll, with skin that has peeled away to reveal a skeletal frame beneath. After some coaxing he opens the door for them, leading them down through a dark passageway. The light here seems to consume and dim any light sources, and even those with darkvision can only see half their normal distance.  While walking, Virgil stirs awake from his drunken slumber and solves a puzzle that the gnoll presented to them. It could be argued that N'Nera and Cat solved it, really, but we'll give Virgil credit for the answer. At the bottom of the passage they find a small room with a large, eerie statue. Daron lights the torch sconces, which provides a very dim view of the room. Suddenly the party is attacked by strange, shadowy creatures which seep the life away from both Cat and N'Nera.
