I've created a script for making hidden landmarks on maps which can be discovered by character tokens when they come close enough. 

The script will soon be in the Roll20 API repo (whenever the pull request is accepted). For now, you can also grab it from here: https://github.com/Cazra/roll20-api-scripts/tree/m...

Instructions are in the script's README.md.

Requires Vector Math script.
