new to tabletops

looking for someone to teach me how to play shadowrun i'm completely new to tabletops but would love to give it a go

I'm in the same position, only with D&D. Always been interested, but never had any friends who were interested. I don't want to join a game and make a fool of myself...

You can't swing a cat without hitting a D&D/Pathfinder game on this forum though. Shadowrun now that's a little more hard to come by.

I'm pretty sure you won't make a fool of yourself if you join one that's welcome to new players. Just make sure you read up on the rules and watch a few playthroughs beforehand on youtube, that's all anyone can really ask of a new player. But as for shadowrun, well, good luck with that. I find people will join if you GM something, but if you're only willing to play, then you have no chance of getting a game unless it's D&D or Pathfinder. My advice (Tyler): change to Pathfinder or set up your own Shadowrun game with you as the GM.
