Show to player

Hi everybody ! I am new to roll 20 and I have bought the 5$ version. I did maps, PC, NPC, object... all of that and I learn all. I would like to be able to show to player the npc or the object that I create. I know I can clic ''Show to player'' and it appear into all of the player screen http://postimg.org/image/5psrelq5z/ But when I create object or NPC I do not have the possibility to do that. Why? I hope it is a feature still accessible on the version I have. (If it is of any help, I use mac and google chrome)

For tokens on the tabletop, you can select them and hit Shift+Z to show the token image to your players zoomed in, similar to the Show Players button for handouts. There is no similar feature for characters.

For Characters (including NPC) or for Handouts (any 1 picture + associated text), use "In Player's Journals" and assign to "All Players". This will make it available for viewing under their Journals tab, and the GM will have the "Show To Players" button for both kinds of Journals (Characters, and Handouts). I just tested in my game to make sure, and there is "Show To Players" button for both Characters and Handouts. Wiki Documentation, https://wiki.roll20.net/Journal For objects on the tabletop -- which can be any graphic, whether it's a top-down token, secret note that can't be read in small-token size but can only be read when you pop it up to full size, or any picture/portrait from Art Library or Google Images -- these are best shown to the group using Shift+Z as Brian said.
Thanks you both for the help! The ''Shift+Z'' trick work and it is awesome ! But I did a print sceen and it would seen that I do not have any ''show to player'' button http://postimg.org/image/7apiufeon/ I am confuse. Do I need the pro version to have it?

I see what you mean, Veronique. You are correct and I will show you how to work around that. That appears to be either a Bug or a missing feature, I will check and raise this to the attention of the Dev Team with a separate post in the Bug Reports & Technical Issues forum. Based on your screenshot, I went and tested in my game to find this answer. Conclusion: Show To Players button only appears on the regular Journal windows.... Show To Players button fails to appear if you are using the Pop-Out Window feature. To restore your Show To Players button, go to the Settings at the top-right of chat, UNCHECK the option to "Use Window Popouts For Characters", and then open the character journal again. Now you should have "Show To Players". If this does not fix the issue, please post again. I will raise a separate post on the Technical Issue of "Show To Players Button Does Not Appear on Popout Windows for Characters or Handouts". I'll link to this thread for reference, and will return here to give the Bug thread link in case you are interested in following for any responses that may go there. EDIT: Here is the Bug Report thread, https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/2431264/show-to-...
I was able to replicate this issue. I have it marked down as a bug and hopefully we will fix it soon. Use Brian and Gold's workaround in the meantime.
