BETA: The goal of this thread is for players to "express interest" in specific magic items so GM's can either add them or make them more relevant in their magic drop table (if they were already there). This way the odds of player's getting something they are looking for improve. Each player may have 2 items on their wishlist. They can be of any rarity, but if they may not be rolled on if they are of highest rarity than the items in the original table. When you want to update your wishlist: Do not make a new reply. Edit your old one. Keeping 1 reply for player would make things easier. It's up to each GM how to implement this, as an initial suggestion: Say you have a party of 5 and you are using the DMG magic item table C, roll a d150 instead of a 1d100. from 1 to 100 the table functions as usual. from 101 to 150 you get something from the wishlist (with 5 values for each item or something)... (This would of course need to be adapted depending on item rarity and what table is being used). Edit: Player's can also suggest custom magic items for their wishlist. To do that make up the item description and effect and put a [suggested] tag on it. The validity of the item and it's rarity rating need to be agreed upon by the GM.
